Be sure you understand what Sokolowski's is----a landmark Cleveland restaurant which hasn't changed much (1960ish interior) serving cafeteria-style Polish and Slavic food. If you're looking for upscale interior, nouveau cuisine or anything else, remotely trendy, PLEASE go to Tremont or the Warehouse district and indulge yourself elsewhere. We went on a Friday evening and arrived about 15 minutes before they... More

I have heard talk about this place for years. I thought it was a marketing hype. WRONG. It is a cafeteria style restaurant, but don't let that turn you away. The food was great. I had the fish, fries and , almost more than I could eat. My friend had the kielbasa green beans and a side of Pierogies. We... More

As usual Sokolowski's did an excelled job with the ClamBake. The Clam Chowder was flavorful with large chunks of clams. The Chicken was tender and juicy not to mention the broth still makes my mouth water when I think of it. Everything I have ever eaten at Sololowski's has been delicious!!! Highly recommend it if you have never been there.... More

Historic family-run Cleveland institution. Stuffed Cabbage, Pierogis, Kielbasa and Sauerkraut with various daily special entrees and soups. Add a large selection of homemade desserts and a piano player and you have a truly extraordinary lunch or weekend dinner.

We saw the reviews and decided to give it a try. First surprise - it is served cafeteria-style. The staff was great at helping us to understand the many options and choose our meals. I have the meatloaf plate (2 sides) and my friend chose the pieorgi plate (5 pierogis and 2 sides.) Plus you get a salad bar and... More

A great hidden secret in the Tremont Area of Cleveland. This ethnic Polish restaurant serves home cooked food. The restaurant has specific hours of operation and does not vary from those listed times. The have a full bar and local Polish beers as well as current and popular brands. The food is served cafeteria style. Upon opening there is usually... More

I don't quite understand why this restaurant is so popular. We arrived shortly after 5:00pm on a Saturday, knowing that there is a line to wait through to get to the cafeteria serving line. The place is popular, so there is almost always a lengthy line on weekend nights. The wait time was estimated at 30 minutes by a server... More

I have been to Sokolowski's several times and always walk out very happy! The food is delicious, the people are very friendly and the atmosphere is warm. I especially like all of the historic photos on most of the walls. Highly recommended!!

Make sure to get at least one perogie with your meal. They are fluffy potatoe filled pillows of love smothered in butter and onions. And everything else they serve is good too!!! Lets not forget the people who work here, they're great!

Great local spot to get some awesome polish food! Has a "family" feel to it, and having Polish heritage it was like going to my moms house for lunch.
