Fantastic Polish food!

As a Polish woman who grew up on ethnic food, I can say that this place is the best around. Their pierogi and chicken paprikash are to die for! It had been 15 years since I had been here so I decided to stop there for lunch with my wife as we happened to be in town. Nothing had changed much since then which was good. Everything was very delicious and the staff was most helpful and pleasant. The lady at the registered even asked if we'd like to... More

Not fancy or convenient, but the pierogis, stuffed cabbage, and kielbasa remind me of the best of times! Be sure to check ahead, to make sure they are open.

Best pierogies in Cleveland! Family run and freshest home cooked food in the area. Very casual. Hours are limited so make sure they are open before going. Don't fret if the line is to the door when you arrive. The line will move quickly and the food is well worth any wait.

I swear, when we stepped off the curb from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and told the cab driver to take us to Sokolowski's...he damn near shouted, "Oh HELL yes!" We knew at once we had made a wise decision. I read all kinds of restaurant reviews before coming to Cleveland, and based on Michael Symon and other... More

Part of our family is Polish, and we try to check out Central European wherever we go, so this was a mandatory stop. It didn't disappoint. The food is served in a short cafeteria line. Although there are some meal combinations that are considered standard, you can substitute and play around with them. Not everything is fabulous. Some foods are... More

Such an active, loud place with very good food served cafeteria style. Loved the stuffed cabbage, kielbasa and pirogis. Easy to eat too much great food. Nice selection of local beers too.

Food was very good. My portion was very small. We ordered stuffed cabbage (with two large sides for $9.95), perch dinner (two pieces of fish with two small sides-corn and green beans-for $10.95), and two soft drinks. Our total bill was $31.00??? The staff was very unfriendly. Apparently, if you are not a regular and they don't know you, Don't... More

I have always gone on a Friday night. You can choose what you want from a type of cafeteria line....very popular. Beautiful large Cabbage Rolls and Chicken Paprikash. A longtime favorite in Cleveland Oh....(Cleveland is known for its ethic food).
