Our family visited the Dervish Grill before strolling through the Tremont ArtWalk. What a nice surprise....very friendly hosts and wonderful food including their fresh fish of the day. Our son loved the hummus and falafel appetizer as well as his gyro. My husband and I enjoyed the fish special. The staff treated us as family. What a warm, cozy place.....we'll... More

I've visited this place quite a few times and the food never disappoints. It's usually a pretty quiet place, so I've never waited for a table. The wait staff is friendly and can easily suggest foods and drinks you're not familiar with. The food has been great every time and it comes in large portions. Having been to Turkey, the... More

Even for an occasional visitor to Cleveland, the Tremont buzz is inescapable. So, while strolling the neighborhood to see what the fuss was about, we peeked into the cozy Dervish Grill and stayed for dinner. It was terrific; the food was delicious and reasonably priced, the portions were generous, and the staff made us feel like honored guests at a... More

I went expecting a bit more finish to the place. We took our daughter and son-in-law from Chicago who enjoy Turkish food. They said it was just like their own Turkish place in Chicago but I was disappointed. The food was good but it was served more like a struggling establishment. The service was good and the price was very... More

My husband and I ate here last week and really enjoyed everything. We had two appetizers, hummus and a sort of Turkish salsa which had peppers and walnuts. Then our entrees arrived. We both selected different kabobs. I put the rest of salsa on my rice, which was just fine without it. We hope to come back.

Well, the place was kind of a disappointment. The staff was great, the place was quaint, but the food was just ok. The stuffed eggplant was decent but the lamb sauté was awful. Lamb was fatty. We tried to eat it but couldn't. It was smothered with a flavorless tomato sauce. It was just plain awful. I'm in Cleveland for... More

Excellent food ! Great for vegetarians. We had the appetizer sampler and falafel and the kids had filet mignon and chicken . A great mix for veggies and non veggies .

Trip Advisor reviews led us to Dervish Grill in Tremont. We are grateful for this site because there are many places in our hometown where we haven't visited. The Dervish Grill is a terrific spot! We dined outside on a gorgeous Cleveland afternoon. The pita is thicker, soft, served warm and comes with a cucumber and barbecue dipping sauces. The... More

Dined here for the first time and definitely will be going back often---started with the incredibly delicious appetizer platter which came with hummus, baba ganoush, tabbouleh, lebne, eggplant and their phenomenal ezme. The bread which came with it was a thicker turkish bread as opposed to the pita-like bread you usually get---was delicious all the same. My husband had the... More

Tucked away at the far end of Professor St. in trendy Tremont, Dervish Grill offers tasty Mediterranean treats for a fair price. Decor includes some authentic Turkish items too. They have delicious grilled meats, especially the Adana kebab. My favorite is their homemade "ezme", kind of a chopped relish made with tomato, herbs, peppers and walnuts. Absolutely yummy with their... More
