We gave Grumpy's a try for breakfast after reading the positive reviews and we weren't disappointed. I had blueberry pancakes and a side of biscuits and gravy. Both were very good and stayed with me all day (filling). Service was very good and parking was a breeze. The house from the Christmas Story movie is just a few blocks away.

Food was excellent (make sure you try one of their breakfast meats). Portions were huge especially the pancakes - best I've had hands down. The price (~$25 for two with coffee and tip) was a steal. Definitely a must stop.

My family and I were in Cleveland for just one night and decided to hit this hot spot for breakfast before our visit to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. It was well worth the stop! I had a short stack of the apple oatmeal pancakes and I was not disappointed. They were tasty and had just the right... More

Located in a very nice and quiet area, you will be absorbed by this local from the moment you step inside. It is one of that places where the locals eat, and with this kind of places you can rarely go wrong. The breakfast we had here was delicious, cajun potatoes and the steak delightful! If you find yourself in... More

I really enjoyed this place, great food and great people who work there. I felt like it may be a local treasure. If I get back up in the neighborhood again I will definitely stop in again. It was actually one of the very few places I've been to up north that was down right " Southern " friendly.

We were very pleased with our breakfast at grumpy's. Their menu features standard breakfast there with a twist. The pancakes and omelettes each had a wide selection of add is. The corn beef was particularly good. It is the little details that really made a difference. Selection of toast included a delicious rye bread. The container of syrup she brought... More

A cozy Tremont neighborhood spot, this cafe serves up creative, good food with friendly, efficient service in a dining room decorated with local art for sale. It's BYOB and a consistently pleasant casual dining experience.

We stopped here on a bike ride on Sunday afternoon about a half hour before closing. With the flurry of normal closing activities the ambiance of the place gets lost. We both had omelets which were good but I anticipated better than average food after the comments I got from friends. There is great potential for this place with its... More

Restaurant was about half full on a Saturday afternoon and I can understand why. .. not so good for breakfast or lunch which was being served at this time. I had the steakburger, it was not so good unless you like grease, soggy toasted bread and soggy lettuce. I tried my husband's sausage omelet, it was ok, sausage was probably... More

This place is a great find. Located in a hard to find location that our Gps took us on a grand tour of the area finally hone in on. The service was fantastic and prompt. The food was outstanding as well as the coffee. A very quaint atmosphere that has limited seating. Don't let the outside fool you. .. it... More
