Outstanding restaurant! Our party of four was treated extremely well by the friendly staff. Have went to the 2 for $40....a great value. I had the blue crab hush puppies...yum! and the Hanger steak.....mouth watering double YUM!!! The wine was great. Staff was attentive, we never felt rushed and they offered great suggestions...like the chocolate chip cookie pie for dessert!... More

We recently attended Hodges with a party of 12. We had a reservation and they were finishing getting the party room ready for us when we arrived. However, it was a nice evening outside and we asked to be seated there instead. They honored this request and we were seated in their patio area although about 25 minutes after we... More

Outstanding restaurant. Our first time going to Hodges. The decor and color palate is really modern and cool. We went for the 2 for $40. One appetizer, two entrees and a bottle of wine. Perfect for the two of us. The cornbread is soooo good. We also ordered the deviled eggs (really delicious). Our waiter was really nice and funny.... More

This place was so good - i think it's a must-do if you are visiting Cleveland. The food was original and delicious. The special when we were there was applewood smoked wings and they were tender and just the right amount of sweet and savory - best wings I ever had (but I should note that I don't really like... Six of us had dinner here and had a lovely meal. I had the Hanger Steak with Creamed Corn and Crispy Onions on top. The creamed corn was fabulous; the crispy onions were OK, if sparse; and the steak itself was good although I ordered it medium and it came out definitely medium rare. I ate it, but was a... More

Food is well done, not off the charts, but well done. Service can be a little spotty, but quite simply is Cleveland.

Excellent food and service. We liked the decor and atmosphere. We went before an Indians game and our server made sure that we made it for the first pitch. My only issue is the pricing. Some of the reviews commented about reasonable prices. Maybe I'm living in the past, but $25 for shrimp and sausage with grits seems excessive. They... More

Great place to dine al fresco in downtown Cleveland. I've never been seated indoors so can't speak to that but if it's a nice evening this is a go to. As others have said the first highlight is the cornbread and tator tots that are served instead of bread. I've been a few times both as a couple and with... More

We're pretty stingy with 5s or this place might get one. The cornbread is served hot in your own iron pan. Very yummy. We started off with the deviled eggs which seem to be making a comeback. My wife really enjoyed her salmon and my mother in law loved her chicken. Large portion with delicious herb treatment. I had the... More

Mg husband and I at here while in town for a weeding and had a great experience. First of all our server was awesome! Corn bread was delicious as was my burger and stuffed dates. Only potential improvement was the size of the hanger steak my hubby ordered. Would recommend.
