Fried Chicken Love

Love this place, the fried chicken is super flavorful and juicy but also incredibly crispy! The biscuits and the toppings for the biscuits were awesome, and mac and cheese was perfect! I love this place, a yummy twist on the "traditional southern" comfort food. I dream of going back here haha... read more

Chef Nolan Kominsky cooks with a passion for unique and tasty fare. Some spicy hot and some just basic good, each dish has a unique ingredient of some kind that makes it special. Small and cozy ambience make it worth the trip. When I have a hard time picking what I want from the menu because they all sound good, I... More

The fried chicken and waffles is always the best in town. The bourbon selection is one of the best in Cleveland. Service has always been great. Do check out their specials during the week.

We arrived in Cleveland on Friday evening and were surprised to find a restaurant offering "southern hospitality" menu. With the previous week's snow piled up all around, this sounded warm and inviting to these Virginians. The restaurant was full, and a thoughtful advance reservation made by our Cleveland friend was a good choice. The cuisine was quite interesting -- for... More

The boss(my lovely wife) and I spent a Friday evening in Ohio City and were very pleased with our decision to dine at Soho- We snacked on the deviled eggs(Excellent deviled eggs!!) and the housemade pimento cheese dip-not what I expected, but none the less, was very pleased with the choice! The wife went with one of the fried chicken... More

One party of 6 enjoyed a wonderful evening out on a Tuesday evening. We had reservations and were seated promptly. Our server (Anne) was attentive without hovering. We started out with pimento cheese, hush puppies and deviled eggs. All were good, especially the eggs. They were made the southern way with a very creamy yolk and mustard filling. The macaroni... Soho is consistently great. The biscuits and jam, so good. The best fried chicken you will ever have. Well I havent been in the south much, but definitely the best fried chicken in CLE. Very good mixed drinks too.

We chose Soho for our New Year's Eve dinner, and it was fantastic! We'd never been there before, and didn't know what the prix fixe menu would be, but liked the looks of the regular menu. The six courses (two choices available for five for them) were uniformly excellent; standouts included the biscuit with citrus butter and bacon jam, the... More

I like most of the restaurants in the W25th Market area, but a few have fallen short and others are good but not exceptional. So I was a little worried that this one would be just ok. However, it was great. Fried chicken was fantastic, the biscuits were great, and I liked the design of the place overall. I was... More

This place never disappoints. The food isn't fancy but it will take you back to grandma's kitchen. The biscuits are warm and taste home made. The fried chicken isn't greasy, so don't shy away from it. The mac and cheese is very good and perfect for a chilly night. I've also heard they have a good sunday brunch but haven't... More
