Had a small birthday celebration there first time after it reopened. I was so excited to try the delicious food I remember like the trout and smoked pork chops. I was very disappointed. First of all the service was suprisingly slow for a Monday night . We waited for a while for drinks and for our order to be taken.... More

My friend, native Cleveland, never been and said to me more than once "great choice in restaurants". I always do my searching prior to travel and SOHO made the list of restaurants. Starters: the homemade biscuits with butter and preserve-unreal, Suggested appetizer from waitress: pulled lamb(?)on a hoecake with mango salsa and cheese(?), it was SO GOOD, it was sinful.... More

We stopped in during the week and wasn't disappointed. The service was great and the food was fantastic. Started off with the deviled eggs and chips/dip and would get both again. Had the chicken and Mac and cheese and it was a great meal. Definitely would recommend

I wanted to take my wife (A Chicago native born in Mississippi and serious foodie) to a unique spot in Cleveland to begin our wedding celebration and SOHO did not disappoint. The dark lighting and rustic décor set a romantic atmosphere. We had the Gumbo Ya-Ya and the Carolina Fried Rice for appetizers. The gumbo was good, not the best... More

Having grown up in the south, I was very excited to find this restaurant after reading its menu. The overall menu looked great, but the execution of the meals left much to be desired. First the good: the biscuits were wonderful. They serve them hot and they are fantastic. The pimento cheese dip with barbeque chips were also very good.... More

I recently had dinner here and it was outstanding. For an appetizer I had the oysters rockefeller and the jalapeno hush puppies. Both were very good but the hush puppies were OUTSTANDING! They also give you biscuits and jam while you're waiting for your meal which are delicious. I had the shrimp and grits. I would strongly recommend this dish... More

Went to dinner here after a long day at work and was SO AMAZED! Great southern food with creative cocktails. I had the shrimp & grits (amazing) and my friend had the fried chicken with deviled eggs and mac & cheese. Decadent but perfect. I will definitely come back to this place over and over and over!

Visited with good sized party -- all arriving separately -- and as it was a Thursday, it worked out perfectly as the room was mostly empty. Single open room, not large, including bar area, and as the weather had finally broken the sidewalk tables were mostly full. Instead of the typical basket o' bread they serve BISCUITS! And what a...
