Had dinner here last week after going on a fantastic walking tour of Playhouse Square. The restaurant is in a beautiful space in the Playhouse Square district of Downtown Cleveland. The food was just okay -- the fries that came with my skirt steak were way overdone, which makes me think that they need better quality control. There was almost... More

Decent menu, not a huge variety, but enough. Expected a few more specials, but really only one for each category. Acceptable portions, creative menu, food very well prepared and arrive on time and piping hot. The menu online listed side items, but there are none on menu in restaurant. They have gluten free bread available and were very flexible in... More

Went here on a Friday before a show at Playhouse square. It's about 1 block to the theater. We had a 5:15pm reservation and were seated when we arrived right at 5:15. Service was very good int he beginning. Bread and water delivered quickly and server came by within 2 minutes to get drink order. We ordered a few minutes... More

Wow! What a great find, and it is only a block from the theaters and parking! The menu was very interesting, and our selections were prepared perfectly. The drink menu also had some interesting offerings! We will definitely be back!

I went to Cowell and Hubbard with my daughter for a after graduation present. The restaurant was very beautiful and clean, The staff was very attentive! The food was well prepared at the right temperature and the presentation was great. As with most of these restaurants that have the famous chefs attached to the name they are a bit pricey... More

We celebrated our ten year anniversary here. We were seated quickly but we preferred a booth, so they graciously moved us. The waiter was very good and we both enjoyed our entrees. I had the braised beef shoulder, it was excellent falling apart and juicy. At the end of our meal the manager brought us dessert on the house which... More

This was a great dining experience! The staff was very attentive and prompt. I had the delicious boar tenddrloin while my wife enjoyed the pasta du jour. We ended with the unique hazelnut cheesecake with orange sauce. While I didn't feel like we waited a long time for anything, you should book a table about two hours before your show... More

my first visit was June 11 and found it so good I returned June 17. The food and service is outstanding. The Host and server showed interest in us -- something that is often overlooked in restaurants. The olive oil served with fresh rustic bread is available for purchase and believe me, is as fresh and aromatic as the first... More
