Well worth finding a parking place

We had a wonderful experience at Spice on 4/18. The restaurant is right in the midst of all the Gordon Square arts district traffic, which can make parking an issue. But don’t let that stop you. Chef Ben Bebenroth puts forth a very interesting menu, suitable for all, from gluten free to vegan... read more

The Good - Unique menu and good food, fun atmosphere and great service. The Bad - Hard to find parking, Noisy, Not a great desert menu Bottom Line - Fun and different with good food and service. I'd go back.

Great food offerings for vegetarian, gluten free and others. Nice wine and beer selection. Salads, appetizers, entrees and desserts were all excellent. Substitutions were no problem. Fresh ingredients were much appreciated. Only minor surprise was the price. Check was a bit more than expected - maybe 15%. Probably due to wine, salads and dessert being a couple dollars more than... More

Being an out of towner, this place rocked! Loved the menu, great happy hour prices... Service was a little slow but the food and drinks made up for it! Must try the flatbread and "fries"!

I have been here twice for dinner - one time last summer and then this past Saturday night. Last summer our food was not that great and of course you compare the quality to the price and Spice is an expensive restaurant. This Saturday I ordered the steak and the duck confit macaroni and cheese. The steak was cooked well,... More

A friend and I decided to try Spice Kitchen on a Friday night during Cleveland Restaurant Week. For an appetizer, we split the cheese board. Four cheeses, a 1/2 sliced apple, raisins, nuts, pickled peppers, and crustini. The board in itself was a meal. Cheeses, nuts, and fruit perfectly paired. The meal was 3-courses in which I ordered the soup... More

Love it when the locals succeed! Great space and amazing menu - the choices! The polenta fries are crispy and rich. Shared entrees and got no attitude from the staff. Service was fantastic - love Samantha (hope that's her name!). And then there was the chocolate panne cotta. Yummy. Go now!

We had a light dinner before going to the Capitol Theatre for a 7 o'clock show. The sides of Mac and cheese and roasted vegetables ( I had parsnips and carrots, my friend tomatoes and squash) were just enough to fill us up with wonderful, warm comfort food. The service was impeccable.

They have unusual items on the menu. We had to ask what a couple of them were. Good service from the waiter and busboys. On-street parking.

Spice Kitchen and Bar is a great place to go on a date, with a group of friends, family, or just by yourself where you can cozy up to the bar and exchange healthy banter with any of the staff. Their food is refreshing, crisp, and their ever changing menu ensures you will never grow old of their dishes! I... More
