Bring some insulin! Even if you're not diabetic. You might be after you visit, but this place is worth it :-)

This place should be called Holy Moses because Holy Moses, this place is great! It will take you back to the easier 1950s way of living, all the way from the employee’s retro uniforms to the entire establishment’s decor! Sundays are actually served in a glass parfait bowl unlike today’s styrofoam or cardboard. Great place for a date!

When they do it well, the USA does ice-cream the best. And this place is a great example. We came to do the ice-cream challenge, since I've never done an eating challenge and ice-cream is the only food I could conceivably want to eat until I was sick! Makes sense right? That’s the 'Terminal Tower', 10 enormous scoops of ice-cream... More

During a recent three-day trip to Cleveland, we made the trip to Sweet Moses for some old-time fun and treats. The shop was spacious and lovely, with touches of the soda fountain era throughout. From the fixtures at the counter, to the workers' uniforms, to the throwback sink and latrine in the restroom, I felt like I was transformed to... More

We heard about this place last weekend so we decided to hunt it down and give it a try. The ice cream was very good. The atmosphere is quaint with a lot of historical items being used in the store. The candy counter looked awesome. We did not buy any because it is pretty hard to travel with chocolate on... More

Sweet Moses makes all their own ice-cream on location, if you are lucky you can watch them make it in the back. They are a very old fashioned soda shop, they even have a whip cream sprayer! It is so yummy, when we first moved to Lakewood we went at least once a week!

Instead of getting some dessert at the restaurant where we had lunch, we drove to Sweet Moses, in the Gordon Square neighborhood. It is named after the city’s founder, Moses Cleveland. Although the place has been in business only three years, much of the furnishings are period pieces of a hundred years ago, making it look and feel like an... More

We tried to stop in to Sweet Moses a few years ago but I think at that time they were not open on Mondays. This time when we visited we made a stop and it was worth trying to go back! Great atmosphere and friendly staff. The Root Beer Float was wonderful! If I lived in the area I'd be... More

Take a step into this place and feel like you entered a 1950s ice cream parlor. The classic ice cream parlor feel extends from the décor to the dress code of employees. They have an extensive menu of ice cream, sundaes, root beer floats, pies, candies, and other items that will satisfy your sweet tooth. The place is small, but... More

This is a must-see place for anyone into an old-school ice cream parlor. The ice cream is creamy and was an interesting viscosity. There are always vegan options, which are good, but they still need some work on the creaminess; they still have a very icy quality that tastes a little too watery for my taste. The place also has...
