Best Hotdog Place

We visited Happy Dog with my family last year..... yes! it took me a year to write a review since I couldn't remember the name of the place but for sure I remember the food. I was amazed with all the toppings you can put on your hotdog and the flavor or the hotdog. If you are visiting Cleveland I... read more

You have over 20 hotdogs to choose from. But, what I love coming here for is the tater tots. Not many places offer tots these days so great to see tater tots as an alternative to fries. 10 different dipping sauces for the tots which was excellent. Great value for your money.

No place like Happy Dog and it deserves the top spot. Originality exudes upon entering. You may be greeted by the loud music being played from bands of all genres, or locals talking and laughing, or both in this old school type feel hang out that has no hang ups. Enjoy a menu full of choices for your beef or... More

Happy Dog is not necessarily a family place (read bar), but we go early (between 4p and 6p) and have a great time! The combinations for the dogs are limitless, and the sauces for the tots and fries are outstanding. The kids get a kick out of ordering things like spaghetti-os on their dogs, while we can order ours topped... More

The concept is a lot of fun, the hot dogs are very big and so are the fries/tots. You can play with your toppings and have an awesome meal for under 10$ easily.

This place looks on the outside like it would be nothing special. It is just a shot and beer place but oh man! Killer hot dogs with so many toppings it is hard to choose. Do not forget to order some tots with your dogs!

Happy dog is one of the best places in the area to get a true feel for the city and its people. The food is inventive but not pretentious. The beer selection is outstanding, both on draft and bottles/cans. Fantastic space at both the Euclid and Detroit locations. Highly recommend a visit for those coming from out of town.

For only $5 you build your own hot dog. Great! Its by no way a fancy place but the staff was very nice and the drinks were a deal in my book even if we were not there for happy hour. We will take friends next time for sure.

I have been hearing about how great Happy Dog is for at least a year so I was really excited to finally try it out today. I was a little disappointed. If you are only going to serve a couple items on your menu they need to be the best. Especially if it is part of your establishments name. The... More

After a concert and another bar, this place was recommended as somewhere we, vegetarian & carnivore alike, could get a quick bite. We thought it was going to be a stand but it's really a bar with live music. So not only did we have amazing hot dogs with the most unique toppings, the vibe was perfect for a late... More
