I have never been a fan of French food, but boy has that changed. I took some clients and colleagues here and everyone left raving about the food and service. We never ran out of beverages or bread. the ambiance is great too, another fabulous restaurant Jack!

L'Albatros is a polished gem in the Cleveland food scene. The complete experience stands up well - compared to dining anywhere in the country. The staff is plentiful and extremely well trained. You will find an expansive - though not expensive - wine list to satisfy most anyone and creative artistry in all parts of the menu. The 2 pieces... More

My first impression was with a hostess who was very knowledgeable explaining the menu, the ingredients and making suggestions. That was awesome help. Of course I made a reservation. Four of us arrived to be walking into a cozy atmosphere and ready to drop a buck and get some fine cuisine on our tables. Prices were average and expected. Wine... More

I have been wanting to visit this restaurant for months now. I'm an out of towner and last time we came to Cleveland I canceled my reservation here and went to Lola instead. HUGE mistake. Everything about this experience was positive from he moment I arrived. As we walked through the main entrance, we were greeted by the kitchen staff... More

This was described to me as the best restaurant in Cleveland. Now before you diss Cleveland, it should be noted that it has some very fine restaurants. I was expecting a lot so I was disappointed a bit and that is why I have mixed feelings. The service was excellent. There were 3 of us at this dinner and we... More

We took out of towners their for lunch in August. Food was good and the trees above kept us cool. I am looking forward to having a more adventurous meal next time. We had the steak with bernaise and pomme frites. Similare to a meal I had many years ago in Luxenburg many maney years ago. We both enjoyed it.... More

"One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well" - Virginia Wolf That sentence is written at the back of L'Albatros bussines card, and I may say that after been there I could think well, love well and sleep well! The atmosphere is excellent, with a modern look that will make you very comfortable. I... More

I was here on a business trip and was glad that this restaurant was nearby where I stayed. Both the appetizers and main entrees were delicious. The portions were very generous. And the server was friendly and enthusiastic. There are good choices for non-meaters which I appreciated. I will definitely return here when I am in town again.

Went to L'Albatros for lunch. It was a beautiful day but too cool for the patio, which I hear is wonderful in good weather. The setting is charming and the service was very attentive. Our water and bread was refilled constantly. I ordered the French Onion Soup, which arrived looking perfectly cheesy & crusty, but turned out to have no... More

I had an enjoyable dinner here on their outdoor dining patio. Excellent all around. I am not a regular patron of French restaurants; however, L'Albatros has a menu that should appeal to various tastes and appetites. My food selections were not very "French": Split pea soup and roasted cod! But, it was absolutely delicious. First class. Not only is there... More
