One of my favorite restaurants in Cleveland, L'albatros never disappoints. The setting is charming - interesting and comfortable. The food is solid - consistently good. The menu is more than adequate, including both typical and more inventive French fare. I have tried most of the dishes. My favorites include the pork rillettes, the frisee salad, walleye with lobster quenelles (a... More

We had a very good meal at L'Albatros. The site is surrounded by University frat houses. Kind of cool. Food was tasty but was not super hot. My Pork 2 ways dish was good, but the deep fried cauliflower overpowered the dish. I could barely find the pork, either way.

Came here for dinner after the orchestra last night. Good friends are late owls and we had a fabulous dinner, unrushed. Didn't get done until close to midnight and the staff never let down in their attentiveness. Bravo!

Parking out front is metered. The afternoon we were there meters were not working. Lot manned be college grads. Strange. Food and service was super. Lunch is a great option if you just want to try. Less pricey. They have some signature drinks that are very good. The one with lavender was superb.

What a surprises to find such a sophisticated brasserie near the museum in Cleveland! Everything about this place is real. Excellent food, mixed cocktails and wine. Highly recommended. One is made to feel instantly at home. Returning in a week to redouble our pleasure.

Perfect night! Classy, not stuffy! Food and service was wonderful. It was my daughters first "fancy" meal.

L'Albatros is a wonderful restaurant...great patio in the summer months, and the perfect place to have dinner before a concert by the Cleveland Orchestra! Or after a visit to the Cleveland Museum of Art. Try the Mussels and pomme frites...and use crusty bread to dip in the yummy broth!! Don't think you will be disappointed.
