We were visiting Cleveland for the first time and were unsure where to go. After reading several reviews, we decided on The Greenhouse Tavern and we hit the jackpot. The first thing I would like to address is the other reviews on here that say it is too pricey. I believe you get what you pay for and I also... More

Cannot comment on the food but was disappointed in the price of drinks... I understand it's in the heart of downtown and East 4th is prime right now but I think $13 for a house wine or $10 for a pint of local brew is too much.

Went with family. Very good food, enjoyable meal, good service. The highlight, however, were the confit chicken wings. Other than original Buffalo wings (which is comparing apples to oranges) Greenhouse's wings were the best I've ever had. Would return for the wings alone.

After spendindong considerable time having the menu described we made a choice only to find out 10 minutes later they were out of the dish. After bring thoroughly disappointed we made a second choice only to find the pasta badly underdone and the salad so salty it was hardly edible. The coffe was do weak it was just acidic water.... The place has a great feel to it and you feel very welcomed when you go in but if you are expecting anything resembling a tavern you are in the wrong place. You realize that this is not a tavern when you get the food menu and all the entrees are approaching the 30 dollar mark. When you actually get... More

I've heard a lot about Greenhouse, but we were rather disappointed. The food was overly salty -especially the pork chop (pork tenderloin). After reading so much about the chicken wings we had to try those, but they were tiny and overly dry. I would have liked a California chardonnay, but that is only offered by the bottle. The servers were... More

Seriously, the wings here have been cooked for hours and they were full of flavour and fall-off the bone. Might the best wings I have ever had. Burger was also delicious, but pales in comparison to the wings.

Moved away to FLA 12 years ago but come home often for work & to visit/friends & family. Never, ever will a trip come & go w/ out a visit to Greenhouse Tavern. The food, the atmosphere, the staff, the location. Nothing can be improved upon because it's all top notch. Farm fresh, local food that is constantly changing. Very... More

We picked this place out of a group of really cool restaurants on 4th street. This is a great area to go to when visiting Cleveland. It was within walking distance of our hotel and is a safe, fun, friendly area. We chose this place because of the farm to table mentality. It is not cheap but it is good.... More
