Normally, I am not a fan of restaurants that do not feature foods that I can not pronounce, but one of my rare exceptions is the Desert Inn, in Canton. Very old world and mid-20th Century in decor, and outstanding in food offerings. Especially like the way pork loin is prepared. Well worth a try.

The Desert Inn has an Arabic flare. For appetizers try our humus, baba ganoush, grapeleaves, tabooli, kibbee, or our Arabic egg roll. "Family Style" is our signature meal. Kabobs are our specialty. We have: beef, lamb, mix(beef and lamb),filet mignon, chicken, and shrimp
kabobs. We also have a small and large strip steaks, rack of lamb, steak diane, king and queen filets, lobster tail, and prime rib every Friday and Saturday night.
