Founded in 1957, Tim's Tavern has been a staple in Canton, Ohio for over 50 years! Sadly Tim passed away in 2014 and in November of that year the restaurant was sold to a successful local independent restaurant family who have pledged to continue the fine traditions of the Triner family. We want you to be able to celebrate old memories, make new ones and have an amazing dining experience. Famous for fish, Tim's Tavern is dedicated to providing the finest quality fish, food and beverage products with the freshest available ingredients. Everything is made in house, from the soups and hushpuppies through main course to our desserts. Pair that with great servers and you're sure to have a great time. We have a full service menu and daily specials as well as a weekend Fresh Catch that changes each week. Stop in today and experience an updated piece of history

Great Long Island and Fish!

We've wanted to try Tim's for years, but just never had. So after being told at Red Lobster that the wait for a table would be 40 minutes, we drove over to Tim's. We were seated immediately and had drinks in hand shortly thereafter. The staff was very nice and the food was very good. Delicious hush... read more

Went there on a Wednesday night for fish...which is what they are known for. It's been a while since we were here last, but can't recall if there is any reason why it had been so long. We ordered the fried pickles as an Appetizer, and they were some of the best I've had! The two piece fish dinner is... More

It is worth the time to get off the busy highway and have a fish dinner. Toms Tavern is famous for their fish.

Some friends, my wife, and I came to Canton for Hall of Fame Weekend and ate here on another friend's recommendation. I don't particularly enjoy seafood, but the fish sandwiches here were quite good if a little greasy. The hand cut onion rings are superb, and the draft beer specials are reasonable. I was impressed by the service from our... More

I have been visiting Tim's for years, usually having their fried fish. Sometimes it is just good, but sometimes it is outstanding! Even when it is just good, however, it is better than the fried fish anywhere else in this area. The hush puppies are good but most of the other side items are lacking. I really like cole slaw... We have been eating breakfast at Tim's for years. it recently has changed ownership and the food portions have really been reduced. i had the fish and eggs today and it looked like a minnow for fish size. the new owner is giving the place a much needed face-lift making it better, but with the food portions getting smaller i... The beer battered fish is the best I've ever had! The hush puppies, and mac n cheese were very good! Service was great! Can't wait to go back.
