Best fish in Canton, Ohio

It is worth the time to get off the busy highway and have a fish dinner. Toms Tavern is famous for their fish.

Definitely famous for the fish and HOMEMADE soups, hush puppies and lots of other new things on the menu, a different fresh catch every weekend. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere!!!!

Some friends, my wife, and I came to Canton for Hall of Fame Weekend and ate here on another friend's recommendation. I don't particularly enjoy seafood, but the fish sandwiches here were quite good if a little greasy. The hand cut onion rings are superb, and the draft beer specials are reasonable. I was impressed by the service from our... More

I have been visiting Tim's for years, usually having their fried fish. Sometimes it is just good, but sometimes it is outstanding! Even when it is just good, however, it is better than the fried fish anywhere else in this area. The hush puppies are good but most of the other side items are lacking. I really like cole slaw... We have been eating breakfast at Tim's for years. it recently has changed ownership and the food portions have really been reduced. i had the fish and eggs today and it looked like a minnow for fish size. the new owner is giving the place a much needed face-lift making it better, but with the food portions getting smaller i... The beer battered fish is the best I've ever had! The hush puppies, and mac n cheese were very good! Service was great! Can't wait to go back.

We have been going to Tim's since the 80's when we moved to this area. The fish is mild and never has a strong "fishy" taste. I love their batter and the hush puppies with honey butter are excellent.

The fish is fabulous and not greasy. The wife had a burger and was very happy with that. The surroundings are pleasant and they bring back a lot of memories of Myers Lake amusement park

Have been going to Tim's since the 70's. Great beer battered fish, great hush puppies and the sweet potato fries are the best anywhere. Service is friendly and efficient. Prices are not cheap, $16 for a basket of 5 pieces of fish, $4.29 for a plate of sweet potato fries, $3 for a small plate of hush puppies. Add an... More

Tim's is famous for their beer-battered seafood - and for good reason. The crust is crunchy without being thick or greasy. Numerous side dishes to choose from. Casual dining with a full bar. Menu has more than just seafood, all delicious! Always thought of Tim's for lunch or dinner, but recently learned that they also serve breakfast. Might be my... More
