We ate here after a recommendation from a colleague and we were very impressed! The atmosphere is casual with plenty of seating bar side or in the dining room. The service was friendly and prompt and helpful with the menu items. There are a lot of choices and they were all reasonably priced. Our dinners were delicious and prepared fresh.... More

I ate here for the first time in many years while in Canton for a graduation. The beer-battered fish was just like I remembered, which means it was perfect to me. Crispy, flaky, mild. I enjoyed the hush puppies on the side. My companion, who didn't have any sentimental attachment to the fried fish, got grilled salmon and said it... More

We eat here frequently. Fish is tasty spare the fried picked and the sweet potato fries. Nice local family atmosphere. Service is sometimes a little slow.

I've been going here every since I was a very little girl and now with my own family. We always get a regular (1 piece of fish) or a jumbo (2 pieces) fish sandwich with American cheese, tartar sauce, and and order of fries. We're never disappointed! They have a large dining room area and a bar area. Both are... More

Had lunch the other day after a 5 year absence. The only thing we've ever had is the fish & chips. Since we have Alaskan halibut fish & chips as a comparison, Tim's is just okay. Not sure what kind of fish it is, but it's nicely battered and cooked well. Multiplicity of sides, some cost extra. We sat in... More

While working in the area I invited a man to dinner on me who had helped me be successful. He chose Tim's Tavern which amazed me. I was prepared for a much fancier place and I don't like deep fried fish. He ordered a fish sandwich and a beverage. I had a burger and fries. No complaints on the food.... More

Best pub in Canton! We loved this place! The french fries and the fish sandwich are amazing. The service was very good! Went with 3 girlfriends and we really enjoyed the atmosphere as well as the food! We will be back all the time.

It had been a while since my last visit! Last time, I noticed the prices had taken a huge leap. This visit, they went up again. To a degree, price is usually not an issue. You don't mind paying a little more as long as the product is good. When you get home, you're not concerned about what you paid... More

A local two room restaurant with a very long history of serving great fish. I can still remember this restaurant from 50 years ago. Today, the building addition and the old Myers Lake wall mutals really brought back some great family memories. The fish sandwich was still the same...just fantastic. How many other restaurants can say they have been in... More

I visited Tim's Tavern in 2012. My daughter and I went there to enjoy a seafood meal. We sat down and a waiter gave us a menu. We had our hearts set on an enjoyable meal with unlimited seafood. Our order would have been around $40. We sat, and sat and no one ever came back to our table. I... More
