After 20 years I returned to Theo's (formerly Theo's Coney Island) which I remembered quite fondly. It looks the same, very well maintained, like something out of the 1950's. Our server was attentive. The menu is diner-ish, but with prices so low we ordered several different appetizers. Portions are generous. The food is not gourmet, but it is like mama... More

Not just in Cambridge, but everywhere I have traveled. This restaurant is not just reasonable in their prices, but their foods are fresh, their wait staff was attentive, the place was clean and well taken care of. We had steaks, burgers and chicken fettuccini. It was all so delicious and homemade from scratch. The bread basket, YUMMY! We will be... More

The hype about this restaurant did not live up to expectation. Service was extremely slow and orders were mixed up. I will say the pie was delicious.

We were Cambridge for the weekend. Found this place. Went back every night! Each night the food was terrific. Lots of choices. Everything was good. The peach pie was amazing! Just be sure to order it as an appetizer because you will be stuffed after diner. :)

Theo's is an 81-year-old café in downtown Cambridge, two minutes from I-70. They close at 9 PM on Saturday and weekdays; we arrived at 8:40 PM and were treated wonderfully by teenaged wait staff. The prices and quality on the children's menu were amazing: delicious spaghetti and meat sauce and a personal pan pizza (actually on pita) for under $3.00.... More

Yes, Theo's has good pies but I'm not sure if they were ALL homemade!? I got Strawberry which had real strawberries but that fake red sauce. Also bought a black raspberry that was more of a jam in a pie crust/fell apart & I didn't taste any chunks/seeds of the raspberry. It wasn't tart.... just makes me question if it... More

Stopped in one of our favorites in central Ohio at 8:30 pm one week day this week. Just a few miles off I-70 / I-77 and well worth the little detour through charming downtown Cambridge. Wait staff was bright and attentive even though they were only a few minutes away from closing. We ordered the Parmesan encrusted chicken and it... More

Cute diner with plenty of seating, good diner type food, friendly servers and you can't pass up the pie for dessert (yum). Clean and quick service.
