Came for our anniversary dinner and were so disappointed. Service was terrible, waitress forgot our drinks, kept us waiting so long and 1/2 my dinner was cold, my husbands fish awful. Waste of $80 which should have been a special evening. Won't go back!

We thought we would try this restaurant for an anniversary dinner on our real anniversary. Thank goodness we had really celebrated it previous to this. We each ordered soup, the clam chowder was excellent, as was the French onion. Next, our dinners, husband ordered the special - a ribeye, $32, came with mashed potatoes. Just OK - have had much... This was an unplanned dinner on a Saturday night. The service was excellent and the food was well above our expectations. We had the Cedar plank salmon that was cooked to perfection. The Caesar salads were excellent. This was an excellent dining experience. The various small rooms contribute to the intimacy of the dinning experience.

If you are ever on Route 422 in northeast Ohio, you must stop at The Welshfield! They make the best Chicken Pot Pie and Welsh(field) Rarebit anywhere around! The pot pie is just like Grandma used to make, but they throw in a little lobster and asparagus to make the rarebit is out of this world! Don't forget to try... More

The menu is full of well-prepared American foods - burgers, steaks, seafood, pasta. We frequent this restaurant and never tire of it. We've been to brunch, lunch and dinner there, spring summer fall and winter. In this century building, there are many rooms to offer different types of dining experiences - a tavern room, a garden room, booths near the... More

We enjoyed our dinners --nice menu, well-prepared food. We were surprised, however, that there weren't any Ohio wines on the menu, especially since Ohio wine country is only a couple of hours North. Although it was too chilly to sit outside the night we were there, we enjoyed the view of the beautiful garden and patio from the restaurant's garden... More

We dined here twice. Burger night on the patio and Thursday two for 40.00 night. Nice atmosphere, good service (better inside but fine). Homemade chips on burger night were very small portions so maybe they were running out. Chicken piccata was delicious, as was my husband's tilapia. Unfortunately on both occasions t he desert was bad I.e. leave it on... More

This restaurant has been at this location for a long time. So glad the current owners took over the place and made it the charming restaurant it now is. My husband had the salmon and he said it was delicious. They gave him a huge 1/2 of a butternut squash with his meal...I ate part of it and it was... More

The Welshfield Inn was excellent. A reasonably priced meal in a charming outdoor setting. The Welsh Rarebit and angus burger were both excellent set with a imported Peronni. All in all a great surprise - we will be back.

A group of 12 of us met for dinner on a Friday night at 6:30. We had reservations and were seated immediately. Our waitress was absolutely FANTASTIC and on top of everything! She kept our water glasses and drinks full and was quick to clear away dirty dishes. She also did a wonderful job of keeping our orders and checks... More
