Good Indian at a reasonable price

I have been here several timed and always look forward to the next time. Food is good (although not spectacular) and is fairly priced, especially considering that there aren't many Indian restaurants around. As a solid performer, I give them 2 thumbs up.

I found this place while visiting and it is so good. All of the appetizers are amazing, the menu is nice and varied. I had the okra masala and loved it!

I came here for dinner one Sunday with a group I was with. We have been wanting to try something different than the usual Italian/continental that we usual go for. Atmosphere: Bombay Star is defiantly a hole in a wall. It is a small place which is a contrast to the chain restaurants that dominate Boardman. When you enter you... More

Humm. My first review of this restaurant was May, 2014 with 4 stars. Now, well, having been to Bombay Curry in Niles several times, I am thoroughly disappointed in the Bombay Star. What use to be a WONDERFUL taste of India here in Boardman has now become generic, flavorless and totally uninspiring. Sadly, but not without worth, we find ourselves... More

After fish and chips an Indian curry is the English national dish. And going out for "an Indian" on a Saturday night is quite a tradition. So you can imagine that, after coming to Ohio for Thanksgiving, we were delighted to find a local Indian restaurant for Saturday evening dinner. There were eight of us and they managed to put... Good place near the mall. Food is average. Items included chicken tikka masala, chicken chaari, tandoori chicken etc. There was no seafood. Dessert was shahi tukra. Naan tasted very good. Price is quite fair

The food is alright. Their location in Niles is infinitely better. The buffet is usually overcooked and underspiced.

This was my first experience at an Indian restaurant. The first hostess/waitress sat us and was very "cool" - she assumed we were doing buffet for lunch but then saw I had a Groupon and said NO - you must order from menu. I explained the original groupon offer was expired so it was only valid the price I paid... More

It has been almost a year since my visit. It was the choice of another friend. All I remember is I didn't like my choice on the menu, and the carpet in the main aisle was worn out and torn.

We love this place -- we've only been to the buffet once, but it is a great deal for the price. It's also an excellent way to try new things if you aren't that familiar with Indian cuisine. We usually eat dinner there. My nine year old picks Bombay Star whenever we let him choose -- so that says something.... More
