I recently made a reservation at Slatts to meet my family while on business in Cincinnati. They are good enough to set aside space for 9 people. My family have a very eclectic culinary taste, from meat & potatoes to vegetarian. I'm happy to say that Slatts had a diverse menu to meet all needs of the family. The food... More

We were in town for the Crossfit regionals and found this place close to our hotel. Food was good, nothing exceptional. The atmosphere was quite and cozy. The Staff was friendly.

After making this pub restaurant our favorite for the last eight years, our visit yesterday was yet another disapointment (second one in two weeks). Since they changed management last month, the service is extremely slow, orders and bills are mixed up and the price for a scotch on the rocks went from $5.00 to $6.00 which would be OK but... More

We eat here occasionally because it's in the neighborhood. The food is very average and uninspiring. Filet mignon sandwich is probably the best food they offer for the money. The Shanghai chicken salad is pretty good but rest of the salads are very disappointing. Tonight, even though the restaurant was more than half empty, the kitchen 'lost our order' and... More

I've eaten at this place a number of times since we've lived in the area. It is a dependable place to get a quick, good meal and a beverage of your choice. I wouldn't expect fine dining, but the burgers are good. I like the biscuits and special butter quite a bit. I always ask for them if they are... More

We have been to Slatt's on multiple occassions, and each time the food and service simply seem to slide to a lower notch. Not sure why, but here is our most recent meal (for 2). The Ruben had obviously been sitting under the heat lamps for some time because the sliced half of the sandwich meat was dried out, barely... More

Let's begin with the biscuits Slatt's serves in place of bread. They taste like they are made with ten parts sugar, five parts aspartame, and two parts flour. To wash down the piece of biscuit I did not discard, I ordered a margarita, which was made from a mix and minimal alcohol. The entrees are edible, but not especially good.... More

Comfortable. Decent food. Not fancy or creative but still appetizing and fresh. Great biscuits but almost impossible get more than 1 per person. Portions have gotten smaller over time as prices have risen simultaneously. Large menu. Good bar. Casual. attractive decor. I recommend the salads as a good a value and usually well prepared. Much better at lunch than at... More
