Good meal

We visit Berlin Farmstead in February 2015 and it was a good meal. I really like Mrs. Yoders better but this was closer to Berlin Grande Hotel so we went here. The food is good. It is a little pricey for what they offer. I wanted a particular dessert and I was told I could buy that from the gift... read more

Years ago this was a good place to eat but lately it has become too touristy. I would recommend Mrs. Yoders way before this one. Too crowded, service is fair at best - no better than any other restaurant in any small town.

On our way home from a short vacation, we were looking for a place to get some good food. Since we were passing through Amish country in NE Ohio, we knew there would be many choices. We had been in the area before, and had eaten at some places, but the food was just so so. We saw a billboard... More

My husband and I decided to get away for the weekend and headed for Amish Country. We went straight to Farmstead for the Friday lunch/dinner buffet. While it may be a little pricey, we think it's worth it as it offers so much variety! In addition to the huge salad buffet and options, the hot buffet included two types of... More

I noticed homemade pickles on the salad bar and ask the waitress about them because they reminded me of my mothers and... More

We have been several times. It appears to have been taken over by Der Dutchman group (own, control, operate? many buffets in the Amish Country area) and now is no longer open on Sundays. The food is standard to the Der Dutchman restaurants, but we did not have the buffet this time. Went for lunch; the hubby's turkey club was... More

The way of life people in a town like Berlin live really shines through in the friendliness, courtesy and care taken in preparing your food. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Visited at a busy time of day..dinner hour so waiting for my order to be taken was long. The salad bar items were very tasty and there was a lot of variety. My entree, the chopped steak , was very good. The server was very polite and efficient.Restaurant was very clean and was nicely decorated.
