This restaurant has lots of seating, looks they have lots of visitors. We were there during the off season and the place was kind of empty. The food is very average Amish food. The buffet, which it appears is available most of the time, is ample well stocked and includes a salad bar. The chicken on the buffet is really... More

The buffet did not excite me. I love the one in Plain City. The food was ok. Seems a bit commercial to me.

Was expecting a little more from the Farmstead Resturant. As the saying goes you can't judge a book by its cover. Fantastic looking building leads one to feel this is a top of the line Amish Resturant. Entrance is grand today the least with large waiting area stocked with products you can purchase. The seating area is massive and host... More

I was happy to return to this clean, country restaurant. I had been here before, and knew they had a reasonably priced buffet with "country home cooked" fair; so, since I was dining alone & not really looking to linger over dinner, I thought it was a good choice. The home baked rolls were a highlight, but asking for a... More

Our waitress was wonderful but the food just OK. I didn't feel like a big meal so got the salad bar and soup. Soups really were good but salad bar was not impressive. All the salads, potato, macaroni, coleslaw and such, were very bland like they came out of a can. My wife thought her meatloaf sandwich was one of... More

Hi Zanadu2010, Thank you for visiting us here at Berlin Farmstead. We do make our salads on our salad bar. They are not really highly seasoned but are made in the traditional Amish way. Our soups and the meatloaf that your wife enjoyed so much are also from traditional Amish recipes, as well as the majority of the items on... More

This was our first time to try Berlin Farmstead. It was an unusually warm day (for December) and we walked there from "downtown." I ordered the chicken pot pie and my husband ordered The Manhattan (more commonly known as a Hot Shot). My chicken pot pie was good but nothing I would order again. The Hot Shot was very good.... We stay at the Berlin Grande and this place is so very good! We walk across the parking lot and we are there. Good, fresh Amish food. Love the salad bar. That never gets old. It is very clean and very friendly here also. Our last trip we ate there twice. Can't wait to go back.

The Berlin Farmstead offers good variety and reasonable price. The buffet provides good food, lots of choices, and as much as you like for a reasonable price.
