So disappointed. Was really looking forward to an Amish buffet with variety. The salad bar did have a couple of interesting choices, but that was where it ended. Also, very overpriced.

This restaurant is owned by Der Duchman. We have frequented their locations in Plain City, Ohio and Walnut Creek, Ohio and their service and food quality have always exceeded our expectations. In view of that we tried the evening meal at the Berlin Farmstead and choose the buffet. Food was not replenished on the buffet line in a timely manner... More

As far as buffets go, this one has very good food. The usual offerings - ham, roast beef, delicious broasted chicken, sides, salad bar, and dessert bar. I believe it is the exact same buffet that's next to Carlisle Inn near Sugarcreek. If you're really hungry and want to get in and out quickly, it's the place to go.

The food was good, the servers were nice but we slowly discovered that this was the same resteraunts with different names in the area. The Dutchman in Sugar Creek and Der Dutchman in Walnut Creek and Bellville. Yep we went to at least two of those this visit not realizing they were the same. Out of the two, this was... More

We came down for our anniversary and stayed a couple of nights. We'd been here before when some of the other restaurants were closed and we enjoyed the food so much we added it to our list of good places to eat in Amish country.

Looking for Amish style cooking, I knew this would be fried chicken and mashed potatoes. We got there right before the dinner rush, all the shops seem to close around 6 so everybody starts heading for dinner. The buffet was large and overkill for my appetite so we decided to order from the menu. Nothing bad to say at all... More

We love driving from Columbus to Berlin, about 1 hour. We love seeing all the amish folk with their buggies all over town. While here we eat at BerlinFarmstead. You can order off the menu but why when you can get the buffet. Broasted chicken is the best fried chicken you will ever eat. The buffet include a salad bar,... More

Ate breakfast there, but found the lunches/suppers are great. Easy to get to & located in Berlin and not that far from the Blessing Lodge.

We had the family style meal and it was very good but I can't say it was any better than the others we have been to. I think they get people in and out quicker and that can be a plus. Pricing was fair and the service was excellent. To me it was good but not outstanding.

It truly was like a Thanksgiving buffet! While they have a regular menu, their buffet was incredible. Good, honest, home-cooked food at an incredibly low price. Being gluten-free I am always concerned about where we go but no worries here! The salad bar was amazing and I was able to eat ham, pot roast (served only with natural juices...all gravy... More
