I go to Holmes County for three days twice a year, spring and fall; and I eat at least once a day at Boyd and Wurthmann's.Their food can't be beat, and the service is outstanding.

This place is always busy! Good home cooked food will hit the spot! Not as big as some of the other restaurants, so if you have a very large group it may be a hit or miss in finding enough tables to fit everyone. Definitely recommend!

Looks can be deceiving. The atmosphere is not fancy by any means but the food and service were wonderful! Will be back for sure!

My hubby and I were touring Amish country and decided to stop somewhere for dinner - this is rated #2 in town and it's deserving! He ordered the pork chop and I had the country fried steak - both had excellent home cooked quality and flavor. The homemade bread is delicious and the mashed potatoes and gravy are the. Best.... We ate here on a Friday night and thought we might not get in since the Harvest Fest was the next day. But since we arrived kind of late, we got right in. I had the marinated chicken and my husband had the country fried steak. We both had mashed potatoes. It was so good! The restaurant is in an... More
