A Pleasant Change of Pace...

If you decide to dine at the Treehugger's Cafe, make sure you allot plenty of time. It'll be leisurely, whether you want it or not. We were a party of 5 plus a child (they do have a kids menu) and an infant. Our first problem was that there was only one area indoors that could accommodate our group, and... More

Food was somewhat original. Portions were small and we left hungry after paying a hefty bill. There were some tasty items on the menue. I am sceptical as to the nature of anything labled organic so eat at your own risk! Very slow service, it got worse as more people showed up.

This is the third time I've visited and I am very pleased. To be able to sit down in a nice environment. At times they will have someone at the front of restaurant singing and playing their instrument. The food is tasty and they use many gluten free and fresh organic meats. The portions were great. My boyfriend and I... More

I was looking for a vegetarian place for lunch after I flew into Cleveland-Hopkins airport. This place looked worthwhile, only about a 15-minute drive south of the airport, so I gave it try. Not too impressive from the outside, but a wonderful surprise once I stepped inside. Great coffee, superb menu with many vegetarian choices, friendly staff. The service was... More

Love the vegan options. And the coffee - Red Cedar Coffee of Berea, Ohio. And the atmosphere. And the service, And that is is locally owned and not a (sniff) CHAIN.

I remember this place being good but forgot just how good it was until today. I had the TreeHugger's salad consisting of super-fresh salad greens with dried cranberries, sunflower seeds, raw mushrooms and goat cheese. The lavender vinagarette was light and full of flavor. This is a simple salad, but so incredibly fresh and therefore incredibly good. Their dandelion mint... More

Finding places for vegans to eat is not always easy. Many restaurants have days during the week that are vegan nights, but weekends are another matter. Treehuger's is a good choice for that late Sunday lunch. The menu is interesting and the food is good. The vegan rice bowl got thumbs up and the cucumber dill salad was really tasty.... More

This is essentially a vegetarian restaurant but they do serve great hamburgers. Waiter was interesting to talk to and service was fair. Lots of interesting stuff on the menu. Place was crowded and even though they said reservations were not necessary, I 'm glad we made one or we would have had to wait a long time.
