Good Food, Avg Service

The food met expectations. I had a pastrami on rye with a,side of French fries. The fries were $3.25 which I thiught was a bit much. The sandwich was good. Service was a bit lacking.

Came in from out of town. Went to this Cleveland legend. The food was fantastic. A half of a sandwich is just fine for those not trying to be overstuffed. The prices are fair compared to similar NYC deli's I am used to. The service was a bit brusque, not that helpful and overall not their specialty. The food makes... More

This is the classic Jewish deli. Large and tasty corned beef, pastrami, Reuben, turkey, etc. sandwiches. Pickles on the tables. Food is very good, service usually quick and efficient, but sometimes erratic. Chicken in the pot, beef flanken, giant salads, creamed herring, chicken and split pea soup etc.---everything one expects at a deli. Very good breakfast specials, even kippers and... More

Had the roasted brisket of beef with mashed potatoes. Just ok, not much flavor and had a lot of fatty parts I couldn't eat. Not the highest quality brisket I ever had. Went the next day for lunch and asked to sit at a table with a long bench and four other tables for two in front of them. Was... More

Regionally very good, but if you go to any city on the east coast, it would be average. Places like this are on every corner in New York, Boston, New Haven, Providence, Newark... But Corky's is good. Pastrami--do it. Bakery items are good too.

Hot pastrami in a wrap, hard salami on rye and a bowl of mishmash made a great lunch for the two of us. Indeed, their portions are so generous, we were compelled to take our homemade cookies with us to enjoy later in the day.

This deli is great! There are plenty of options for meat eaters and the homemade pickles are fantastic. The restaurant gets really busy during lunch (since the food is awesome) but you can order to go if you are in a rush. Our server Roz took excellent care of us. I had the Clevlander turkey sandwich...ate almost the entire thing.... More

Many cities do not even have a real Jewish deli and Cleveland is luck enough to have a few of them. C&L is one of the originals and as good as ever, with jaw breaking rye bread sandwiches, matzo ball soup and all the rest you would expect, served in updated modern strip mall location.

Whenever we travel to Beachwood we try to visit Corkys & Lennys. It is a family owed deli with the owners wife still working the line. Gloria greets her guests and is warm. Large portions great food. Do not forget dessert.
