A great meal and half-priced wine!!

I was on a business trip with a colleague and we just stopped by without a reservation on a Monday night. We were seated right away in the main dining room and our waiter asked about drinks and told us that bottles of wine were half price. The wine list was really wonderful with many great choices... read more

As west siders, we dont often head to the east side for a bite to eat. We recently stopped at Moxie after an event at The Maltz Museum. The bar was quiet since it was a Monday night so we opted to go casual and sit at the bar. What a pleasant surprise! We were greeted by a male bartender... More

This place has a rather fine bar area, and a well designed restaurant area. Lights are nice to make it pleasant. It's a raffinated, but not classy place, meaning that dress cose is not strict, but you still may enjoy romance. Food was very good, with generous portions and -at once- no use and abuse of garlic. Fine dining time,... More

My husband and I recently had dinner here. I had the Moxie burger, my husband had the salmon. Both meals were over salted. Aside from that, the food was fine.

We have eaten at Moxie several times over the years but last night will probably be the last. Service was slow, seriously does it take 15-20 minutes for a glass of wine. The food, when it finally arrived, was cold at best. My husband said the chicken was below average and sending it back to be heated was a waste... More

We recently dined at Moxie with our daughter and boyfriend. This restaurant is a favorite of theirs and now we know why. Upon arriving, we enjoyed cocktails at the bar. They have an extensive wine lists and a full bar. Chris the bartender was excellent and attentive. We sat at a table although there were booths. Our server informed us... More

Have been here regularly over the years for lunch and dinner and the food and service is consistently good. They also handle large groups well. For the most recent visit, the tuna tartare and duck confit were outstanding. The roasted olives were not (bowl of warm olives) and the pasta dish was decent. WINE DECEPTION: The wine list offered 1/2... More

Have been to Moxie a few times and was back last night for dinner as couldn't get a reservation at Red. Let me start by saying the salad with mandarins and pomegranate was terrible. I couldn't eat any of it- absolutely one of the worst things I have ever attempted to eat. The pomegranate was as hard as popcorn seeds.... More

I go to this restaurant regularly, and find the restaurant very good! The food is very nice, and we have had no problem with the service! Their entrée specials are usually really good, and the appetizers are delicious! My only complaint is that their menu is changed on a seasonal basis, but the fall/winter menu has gone on too long.... Stopped in at Moxie's for dessert, after a progressive dinner throughout the city of Beachwood! lol We had the chocolate lava cakes, and they were incredibly delicious! Thick and chocolately, with rich whipped topping and a yummy chocolate "M" on the top. It was amazing.. but really quite rich!! Had trouble finishing it. I would recommend splitting it with a...
