They have a good range of cakes, biscuits and drinks there. You can sit inside or if a warm day they have the doors pushed to the side and let the sun in too.

We recently stayed at Victor Harbour on our way to Hahndorf from Kangaroo Island. Just near the beach, Cafe Bavaria is situated under on old verandah and looked very smart but casual inside. Having lots of choice, we settled for lightly poached free range eggs, grilled tomatoes and a smoked "knackwurst" sausage! plus two skinny lattes. Within a short time... More

This is seriously the BEST cafe on the south coast. The staff are always friendly, happy and have a smile on their faces. The shop is always clean. The food is fresh and delicious. If your having breakfast, lunch or just a cuppa you have to try a one of their homemade cakes YUMMMM! Always something new and tasty to... More

I went there for coffee, but had a taste of my husbands drink (peppermint hot chocolate), now I don't even really like hot chocolate but I wanted to drink all of his! Mum got a hazelnut cappuccino which was also very nice. My coffee was pretty ordinary, so I wished that I had ordered something different. No toilets available there... More

Good cafe, normal food done well and some different style dish choices as well. Have been a few times over couple of years when in Victor and find it to be the best cafe in this part of town. Nice food, good service, right atmosphere, recommended.

I visit this cafe on a regular basis and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area! We go for breakfast or lunch which is always tasty and the portion sizes are generous. The staff are always pleasant, no matter how busy. Excellent location. Looks out over Warland Reserve and close to the Main Street. Very pretty to sit outside,... More

We wanted a German coffee and cake experience - we got overcooked cake that required a steak knife to cut (it came on the plate) and a white hot chocolate that tasted like a sweet vanilla cinnamon drink that wasn't able to be consumed. The service was geat, but the cake was a dissappointment as was the drink. We have... More

My wife and I stopped for lunch at this cafe hoping for a nice German meal. My wife ordered Leberkasse German meat loaf ($14.90) and I wanted to have a German hotdog ($8.90) which was to have a Weisswurst sausage. Well when the food was served my wife was given a slice of compressed ham which is no way represented... More

Thankyou for taking your time to provide us a very detailed review on tripadvisor, unfortunately it seems you werent very impressed with us. We have never defended ourselves on this site and take any negatives and try and learn from them. However, in this case we would like to respond. All out meats ( apart from the turkey ) are... More

Ate lunch here three times over a three week period. Each time we choose off the specials list (fish & chips, calamari & chips etc) and had a pleasant meal in the outdoor seating area. The service was consistently good and the coffee above average. Prices were reasonable and we would come here again.
