We had such a delightful time at Coriole Cellar Door. The wine tasting experience was very good - a relaxed atmosphere and knowledgeable and insightful cellar lady. The wines, on the whole, were superb. Yes, I do believe these are amongst our favourite McLaren Vale wines. They are more distinctive and interesting than most of the other vineyards' wines, we... Had lunch here and it was lovely. We ordered the platters, which was a charge per person. It came with smoked salmon, carpaccio, ham, local cheeses, vegetable salad and warm crunchy home cooked bread and crackers....so much food!!! The wine was lovely, we had a little tasting before lunch. The wines are very Italian inspired and the staff are quite... More

Running late for our lunch booking of two adults and four children Lauren and her team were fantastically easy going and helpful. When our children ran amok in the beautiful garden (our fault entirely) and knocked down a sign, instead of telling them off Lauren took them on a tour of vegetable garden and let them help put up a... The view is lovely and the girls at the tasting desk were very nice. I didn't enjoy their wines as much, they seemed somewhat young to taste. So perhaps if you encounter a bottle that has been opened the day before it may be another experience entirely. I did not eat at the restaurant but it did seem very busy.

We were looking for something a bit different and Coriole offered just that. It was perfect to sit outside under the big tree and enjoy a platter and a bottle of wine. The location in the middle of the vineyards was stunning. The local produce on the platter was very fresh but we thought the price was rather high. Great... More

The food we had was great however not much choice on the lunch menu. The gardens and views are so beautiful.

Had a great visit here tasting wines. The chenin was yum. What made the visit so good was the lovely lady serving at the cellar door. She is clearly passionate about her job and loves the wines.. The scenery is excellent and olives to die for!

Every time I visit Adelaide I try to squeeze in a visit to Coriole. The wine is excellent and we have always enjoyed the lunchtime platters comprising of local cheeses, meats and produce immensely. The surroundings are lovely whether you are sitting inside by the open fire or enjoying the sunshine in the garden overlooking the vineyards. The staff are... More

We went for the wine but stayed for a platter of lunch between three. Is this the best cold platter I've ever had? Four varieties of Adelaide hills cheeses, olives, breads and smokehouse tastings - wow! Yes it's the best. The staff exceptional in their descriptions of the food and wine suggestions. The 2007 Shiraz by the glass was the... More
