Woodstock Coterie, built in 1988, was designed to nestle among the towering century old gum trees. The design took into consideration the location of each of these amazing native trees. Not one significant tree was cut down to accommodate building the restaurant. Hence, the Coterie's unique semicircle shape. Rammed earth walls encase the dining area, providing a warm feel and at the same time complementing The Coterie's unique quintessentially Australian landscape. Glass doors and windows frame the lush native gardens creating an atrium feel for the discerning patron. Upstairs there is a mezzanine level available for private tastings, conferences and functions. The name 'Coterie' was chosen for the word's meaning; the gathering of a group of people, or rather a circle of friends, for a specific purpose... that for us includes great food, good company and finest wines at Woodstock

A group of us went to the Friday night wood oven pizza evening. It included a small starter, eat as much pizza as you like and a small dessert. Starter, pizza's and dessert where all delicious. Live musician playing great music and a fire burning completed the evening perfectly. Already planning another evening there.

A fantastic dining experience. Great location, delicious food and attentive service. A platter of local delights that kept on giving from the terrine to the crumbed mushrooms. Followed by a heavenly slow-braised lamb shoulder and a series of desserts that left our table salivating. All meticulously served by energetic and caring staff. We will return again and again... A must... More

The pizza night held on Fridays is a great idea for a relaxed meal in delightful surroundings. Menu is from a choice of wood-fire oven pizza, complemented with entre and sweets. As the temperature was now a bit low to sit outdoors being inside did not detract from the enjoyment, The oven is visible from inside and the flood-lit trees... More

went to the winery for a friend's 30th drinks, it was quick service done with a smile. I was glad to be able to use the AMEX card to pay.

We stopped by this charming winery because it had been recommended to us and did, indeed, buy several bottles that we drank over the rest of our trip in Australia. The restaurant looked nice but we weren't ready for lunch yet.

Delicious food. The outside seating area is lovely although the road is nearby and some loud trucks came passed whilst we were there. Still, was nice to be eating our beautiful meal out in the sun.

The verandah is a gorgeous place to sit and enjoy your meal with a cheeky glass of wine. It’s unfortunate that you came on a day when there were loud trucks, some days we get kangaroos hop past and every Sunday you’re sure to see a few dozen well ripped bike riders!! You’ll have to come and sample our new... More

We recently had a family lunch and I would have to say it wasn't the greatest experience. Apart from the food being quite ordinary (the prawns were bland and I could have put that platter together for half the price!) there are several issues with the menu. On the menu it states that entrées served as a main will incur... More

Thanks for your feedback. We have discussed your suggestions with both our Back of House team and our Operations Manager. Our new menu will be launched in the next couple of weeks and we hope that this change together with staff training will tackle most of the issues you brought to our attention. More

I hadn't been to Woodstock Coterie before and it was exactly what I was after. The service was excellent and the food exceptional. Ethan looked after us and was very knowledgeable with the food and wine. We decided to start with the Regional Platter which showcased local produce. It was huge. We didnt need to order anything else to eat... More

Thank you for your lovely feedback. We are well known for our Regional Platter and very well known for our beautiful wines. Ethan is definitely an asset to the team. We are very proud of our product here at Woodstock and take pride in serving it to our customers. From: The biased Restaurant Manager, Ellie Hume More

What a disappointment we took some friends here to celebrate and while the service was good all I can say is at least the wine is great because the food definately lacked inspiration, my husband orderd the spatchcock and from the moment it was set down on the table you could see it had been overcooked and was dry, I...
