This must be one of the very best places to eat in Adelaide. It is not a budget meal, but worth every cent. With recommendations , we booked there. Nice place, not lucky enough to have a outside table. Really good tasting menu ( aniway in be ' we don t call it tasting ) but here yes. Menu tastefully, fantastic medaillon of lobster. Price ok. Not really the best value. Maybe service too slow

When visiting the McLaren Vale we never miss a lunch at the very special d'Arry's Veranda. The view is lovely, the staff are helpful and pleasant and the food excellent. This time I really enjoyed the gin cured salmon and the beef tartare. The wines - well you cannot go wrong with d'Arenberg!

We began our short break by stopping at d’Arry’s Verandah Restaurant for lunch. Friendly staff showed us to our table that overlooked mature trees and vineyards in full harvest with a bright splash of Aussie blue sky overhead for good measure. Contemplating this summer scene, we munched on fried and almond stuffed Queen Spanish olives with lime aioli accompanied by... More

Be prepared, be hungry. The portion sizes are huge here. My friend and I shared the lobster medallion and Manchego churros as entrees. Lobster was in a beautiful creamy, curry-like bisque. Churros were refreshing crispy and loved the goats cheese & salad that it was paired with. By the end of this we were feeling kinda full but had the... More

We enjoyed a Friday lunch at d'Arry's as part of our getaway to South Australia. The food was outstanding! We started off sharing a plate of manchego churros - a combination that worked brilliantly! For mains, I opted for the steak, which was obviously a very high quality cut of meat - it melted in the mouth. My husband raved... More

I was taken to darrys for my birthday, everything was amazing the wine, the service, the venue and the food well it was the best I have ever had. We had the steak and it melted in my mouth. We were so full we could not fit in a dessert but had a plate of petite fours to share again... More

Best kangaroo in Oz. Lived in SA for 32 months and visited every chance we got. Go back on every extended visit to Adelaide. Never had a bad meal. The wine celler tasting room adjacent is the largest sampling room you will ever find. Might want to sample a few before and more after lunch.
