Had Saturday lunch in a group of six friends. Food was indeed exceptional. I had the lobster bisque and duck curry which I loved. Others had pork belly, snapper and mushroom entree and a shared cheese platter to finish, all of which were raved about. BUT, the problem is with the number of tables for a small area. The noise... I have eaten at this winery before, but not in a few years...and things have changed for the better. The service was excellent...very attentive but not too much. The food quality and serving size was spot on...we had a main each, and then cheese...and there was not one thing that we could pick fault with. The steak I had was... More

Still one of the best around, our third time here and finally got to sit outside. New chef's since and we gave it a 8/10. Not quite their usual standard. Anyway good food and excellent wines looking over the vineyards

The view from the restaurant (inside or out) is stunning, and the food (and wine) likewise. You need to book which is itself a good sign.

Is there a better way to spend your time in McLaren Vale than lunching at d'Arry's Verandah? A group of six friends had the best of times, a delicious meal and good wines. The view is stunning and the service is near perfect. We enjoyed the lobster bisque, marinated olives and Willunga almonds, the steak, duck leg curry and the... More

This restaurant is at the winery and you can have a good tasting before you dine. The staff are friendly and service ok but the meals that were prepared for we eight were first rate, from the entre thru the main and to the deserts. The duck curry and the soufflé were standouts. The gluten free member of out group... More

This must be one of the very best places to eat in Adelaide. It is not a budget meal, but worth every cent. There is the added advantage that as an operating winery, you can go into the tasting area and select your wine before you go to your table. I have a limited income so I must limit myself... More
