Four of us had a so called Scoopon Vouchers, which were used today, we enjoyed about one third of the food and samples they advertise, feel ripped off, service was slow, in a word esspecially with so much choice in the reqion, would not go back there. Wines were average, however still wanted top dollar.

The setting is amazing, no doubt about that but the food underwhelmed us a bit, especially considering the cost. The staff seemed a little nervous too, and they also forgot about our pizzas so we had a longer than normal wait (though that gave us more time to enjoy the view). Nothing really to bring us back.

This was my favourite cellar door in the mclaren vale. Unfortunately, visited last week to find settlement and their stock, have closed down. A family run established winemakes by the name of beach road have taken over instead. No word on if we can still purchase settlement wines as red dingo was one of my favourites, just wanted to let... This was our second visit to Settlement Wines and we weren't disappointed! We visited initially with a large group of friends, and this time took the parents back for Father's Day lunch. We sat on the deck (under cover, with a spectacular view of the rolling vineyards) and ordered pizzas. As usual, they were delicious. Cooked in a proper wood... More

Stopped by Settlement Wines in McLaren Vale, hoping for their Pizza lunch, as recommended by friends, but unfortunately the oven wasn't on, the cooks were on a research tour of Italy!! So now really can't wait to get back there to try them! Instead, we tasted their wines at the Cellar door, and they were amazing! Did walk away with... More

Lovely views of the Vale - had a lovely time on the deck with a glass of wine chatting with friends. Our group had a "package" meal for lunch. We each received a very basic pizza with tastings of average quality wines at a premium price.

Visited on a Saturday with my partner for a leisurely lunch while staying in McLaren Vale and we were not disappointed! We choose Settlement as we were looking for something a little more casual then most the winery fine dining style restaurants and it fitted the bill perfectly. On arrival we did some wine tasting in the busy cellar door... More

Amazing views, fantastic wine and friendly staff, all the ingredients to make the food taste even better. We had to book a week ahead to get a seat and it was well worth the wait.

Now Marsala is not a common wine to find around McLarenvale. And fortifieds and sweet desert wines are getting harder and harder to source. This place has a great selection of original and interesting fortifieds. Enough to keep this little Fortified fan happy.
