We had a very nice lunch on a Wednesday, not too many other people around, and the service was attentive, although the food took some time to come out, but it was worth the wait. We will return when next in the McLaren Vale area

Lovely setting for a long lunch and the food was very nice. However for the price the serves were quite small. We ordered a pasta from the specials list and my friend had a main from the menu and feeling hungry the waitress recommend a side dish also, but the serves were quite small for the price. The service was... More

Despite the rain, my parents and I enjoyed a fabulous meal under cover next to the gas heater on the verandah. The service was excellent and the meals substantial. My mother and I loved the snapper on parsnip mash and my father said his steak was one of the best he'd ever had. My mother was also delighted with the... More

This place is gorgeous! The atmosphere was warm, cosy. They had a singer, singing which added to the setting. They also have rooms you can stay in. The food, wine, service was wonderful. We will be going back. Loved it!

This was a return visit to celebrate a late Mother's Day, a it was an enjoyable experience. It was relaxing sitting under the veranda sipping a nice glass of Merlot and eating tasty crumbed mullet. Time to relax and chat. Will come again.

We popped in here as we wanted to try the Vale Ale range. We had the tasting paddle of 4 beers and had the pork belly which was amazing. The chocolate mousse cake was also excellent. Every single staff member that served us were incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable. The setting is relaxed and friendly, I would recommend having lunch... More

Had a great family meal here after Wine tasting around the Valley area. Very scenic place. We had live entertainment while we had an excellent meal served by nice people. Try a Paddle , basically four different types of beer on a stick. Makes for a great family get together location.

Red Poles is an enigmatic venue! The setting is beautiful and tranquil, either on the Verandah or at the garden tables, it is a very relaxing location. Sunday afternoons take on live music and the atmosphere is top notch. Sadly the food is quite expensive and hasn't been to the same standard on the last couple of visits. We last... More
