Such an amazing place to enjoy a glass of wine and some pretty amazing food. We had the pork belly, the free range chicken with sweet corn purée and the salt and pepper squid. All was unreal!!! We didn't book so were very lucky to get a table. I had the duck confit entree and pork belly main and shared crispy potatoes. The entree was small but sweet and tasty. The main's crackling and flavours were delicious. I recommend booking as the restaurant was really busy plus they have wine tastings too. We ordered our food and... More

We had an early lunch at this Establishment and it was superb. The food and drink was top quality, the service excellent and the location next to the vineyard lovely. I highly recommend the pork belly for lunch it was simply beautiful in its jus and the crackling was crunch and to die for. I can't recommend this place highly... More

During the incredibly busy New Years holiday time period the staff at Ekhidna went above and beyond for us. We arrived without a reservation, and they finagled a table outside for us and we ordered some lunch. Whilst waiting for lunch to arrive, they offered us a wine tasting which was fun and informative. During the tasting some space opened... More

About an hour's drive south of Adelaide, this small restaurant has 2 sittings, one at midday and one at 2.00 p.m. Lovely views overlooking some vineyards. Wine tastings are available at all times which can make for a lot of noise as we discovered; the tasting area and restaurant are combined and as bus groups are accepted it can get... More

great sunday lunch.... We booked for 1200 Sunday and upon booking we were told that we had to vacate the table by 2pm and I must admit was concerned by this as I thought we might be rushed thru our lunch. No need to have worried we dined leisurely and we not rushed at all.We had an inside table but... More

I don't go out of my way to review any places but after the 10/10 restaurant I went to in adelaide the night before I just couldn't ignore how misguided this restaurant was. Eye fillet was great.. Except wasn't cooked the way I ordered and that is literally the only nice thing I have to say. If you advertise a... More

Popped in on a sunny Saturday afternoon and were lucky enough to grab a table outside as it was quite packed. We came to try the house brewed cider, but sadly were told they ran out - and was a Saturday of a long weekend. Any dessert or cocktail that included this cider was unavailable because they didnt have the... More

Easy parking and access (handy when lunching with an 86 yr old) and welcoming, friendlystaff on arrival is a great start. The atmosphere and view and the light only enhance the mood. Staff were very attentive but never intrusive and very pleasant. We had a starter plate of dips which were light and refreshing but flavourful. For mains we covered... More
