Why is it when you go out with a group of friends you seems to get the dregs, a group of 18 people and enough food for half I did not eat much as thought it was the entrée. And I do not like platters of deep fried food on a wooden platters, and fancy putting "chips on a platter... More

We came with no expectations but this is a great stop! We got a paddle of beers each and some sliders and sat on the balcony. Good food and some tasty beers I can defiantly see myself coming back and settling in for an arvo!!

Just spent three nights at this wonderful resort. No complaints form the moment we walked through the doors to when we left. Dee was very welcoming, explaining everything to us without us asking. The breakfast basket was lovely and fresh- loved the home made muesli. Tours were arranged for us, restaurant recommended for our first evening, booking made for us... More

We stopped with my friend during our day trip in stanthorpe & it was by "accident" that we found the place! It wasn't planned at all but very good surprise as we had few beers to taste, in a choice of beers on tap. 8$ for a tray with 4 shots. Very explicit description of each one. Nice tasting with... A relaxing atmosphere with a great brewery. The menu on offer was small but creative. My venison accompanied by a mushroom rissoto was quiet superb. My partners oven roasted chicken with a variety of root vegetables was fantastic. The sweet selection was also great, my choice a smooth and flavourful porter infused chocky mousse. The bewery had a excellent range, the... More

With its own microbrewery which produces some great beers, this large spacious restaurant is great for large gatherings (like weddings etc.). The beers themselves are great with enough variety for inquisitive tastebuds. The brewers platter goes well with the beers but the fried cheese was very strong. The restaurant does serve up good sized meals. We were able to have... More

My wife and I rate this meal as one of the very best experiences we have had in our extensive travels, here and abroad - and we are truly independent of the establishment. We both had three courses - the (shared) entrée and the mains being so delicious we had to test the deserts. We selected local-based meals -and all... More

We stayed at Happy Valley Accommodation and had a meal here with elderly parents. It was quiet, with only a half dozen tables or so. The room is very 80s rustic cathedral ceilings so it felt a little cavernous. It was however very comfortable and service was attentive and professional. The menu had limited choices but enough to satisfy anyone.... More
