We came here for the woodfire pizzas and they were GREAT! Such a nice spot, the service was great and the atmosphere chilled and relaxed. Nice bar - what more do you need!

Meals were very nice although a little to heavy handed on the chili on EVERYTHING , had a guest allergic to chili there where only 3 options for her to choose from all being pizzas . Cocktails we were told were very few as they didn't have the ingredients to make any. All in all the food, that could be... More

Hi, we went to Sandbar on Saturday night. A table of 5 were very impressed by the menu options, including gluten free selections. I have to say every single entree and main in the group looked fantastic and tasted delicious. We were still raving about the food at brekky the next day. My Sandbar Special pizza was one of the... The food at this place is poor, bordering on abysmal. What a pity because the location near the beach is excellent and the two young floor staff were great. But the food! Terrible. We ordered a watermelon and feta salad but it had no feta in it. My wife ordered a prawn pasta which looked like a dog's dinner with... More

I am very sorry that you felt this way about our food. You are obviously in a minority judging by all the other reviews and comments received. Most of our pizzas do have a tomato base but the one you chose did have a BBQ base which was clearly described on the menu. The smell that you referred to came... More

We are in mission beach for New Years and arrived yesterday - we decided to eat here last night as it looked the friendliest... What a great place! Fantastic staff, all very friendly, service was quick and efficient, there was always someone popping up offering us another drink... And when we bought a bottle of wine to take away with... More

Lynnie, thank you very much for your review. We were understaffed the first night you came in as one waiter was having a birthday celebration and we were unusually busy for a Monday. Everyone jumped in to help and I am hapy and relieved that you were well looked after. All nice couples (actually everyone) gets a $10 discount on... More

Great little restaurant with welcoming staff and nice atmosphere. Good menu with ok prices. KIDS EAT FREE - a very uncommon but very attractive sign for parents. Saving several dollars on a child meal which may or may not be eaten is much appreciated. Well done.
