Great Scones, Excellent tea, Spectacular view and good company - ahhhh!

We went specially to try the scones and they didn't disappoint but what we didn't expect was the spectacular view from the verandah. My pot of Earl Grey tea was fantastic and I forgot to ask where the tea was from. On offer was three types of scones: plain, fresh strawberry; and fig and ginger. We... read more

Discovered this establishment today after a visit to Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve. Looking for coffee, but dreading reaching the crowded streets of Montville, we saw the sign for Geordie Lane on the way. What a find! Lovely and peaceful - great scones + coffee - interesting antiques - and a wonderful panoramic view of the Sunshine Coast. We will certainly... More

We stopped by Geordie Lane the other day and were completely taken aback by the huge assortment of antiques and memorabilia. The view from the balcony is breathtaking and the owners were so friendly and helpful. It turned into an afternoon of buying and browsing and then tea and scones. I highly recommend the date and ginger scones. They're home... More

Stop in and share a good coffee and homemade scones with family and friends. Then have a browse around the antiques; you never know you might pickup a bargain. The view from the deck is amazing on a clear day, overlooking Caloundra and the Sunshine Coast.

We often stop at Geordie Lane. The coffee and scones are the best. The view is incredible. The owners Sue and Allan, really know their stuff. They have so much stock. Heaps of beautiful china, glass ware, old toys, the list go on. I love going there for a look. Prices are good.

We stopped in at Geordie Lane in search of some good scones and weren't disappointed. They had 3 different types of scones on offer (we went with the date and ginger) although the choice changes from day to day. We sat outside, which gave us sweeping views of the hinterland towards the ocean. They also had seats inside and a... More

We visited here one afternoon and experienced a cream tea, which was lovely and good value for money. The lady who owns it also runs an antique business from here so you have something to browse when you've eaten.. We sat outide and enjoyed the view. The staff were very pleasant.

Any time I go to Maleny, I go here. Wouldn't miss it. I love wandering through their rooms stacked with delightful antiques and objects, but I will then spend an hour sitting on their deck, with the newspaper in hand, soaking up the unbeatable view, drinking tea from an antique cup& saucer set while nibbling on a delicious raspberry delight.... Tucked up on the side of a hill overlooking the sunshine coast is this lovely old Queensland - jam packed full of antiques and collectables and when we couldn't make up our mind what to buy - we had tea and scones to calm and look out over the view.
