After walking all over Kuranda and needing a feed we found this Hotel. There was plenty of people around and so expected a decent meal. We both ordered Chicken Snitzel, chips and salad and it was a generous portion. No complaints on either of the meals. your could choose you sauce which was a... read more

A nice looking little pub with a very attractive outdoor/dining/drinking area - a timber veranda made from local rainforest timber. Very attractive. The menu is quite good and the food, when served, was typical pub fare and quite delicious. Service was good - although the bar staff could possibly make an effort to 'smile' every now and then. What was... More

Took visiting family to Kuranda for the day. Figured we would have a nice pub meal. We ordered for 2 kids and 4 adults. Not only were those who ordered after us served food before us we waited for over an hour. We checked twice and received rather rude and abrupt responses of Yeah it's coming. We weren't the only... We had booked a function for a group and we were amazed The food was fantastic the staff incredibly friendly and nothing was a bother. The table setting was a pretty picture and many thanks to chef Trish who had no problem creating a menu for my food requirements. If you want good honest food at fantastic prices with excellent... We just Went in to get a beer and a coffee and had only to choose this bar to escape from the rain. The "welcome guests" were the local homeless, drunken guys and a pitbull in the entrance. They forgot our Coffee and haven't been friendly at all. Very poor. Absolutly no place to stay - just avoid this hotel\bar.

Food was pretty average - I had a chicken salad wrap - chicken was dry and all processed crap. Service we found really poor as we went to counter to ask for sauce and he said wont be a moment and proceeded to show a staff member how to make a coffee with the coffee machine. After about 5 mins... More

We are locals and thought we would try out the new-look restaurant for New Year. Ben was interested and asked for feedback if we were still unsatisfied. Feedback was supplied but he never returned.

This hotel is part of the central village shopping area but also enough on the fringe of it to be out of the hustle and bustle. The food was excellent. It was reasonably priced and the presentation of the meal was more restaurant quality than pub fare. We had a lovely lunch and I would happily return again next time... More

8 of us looking for a feed, walked in limited seats in bistro area as they are doing reno's current. After eating excellent food and drinking fine beer we understand why they are doing the renos, so more people aren't disappointed for missing out. Thank you to front end staff for the warm, friendly excellent service, those in the kitchen... More
