Filler in a hurry.

Quick bite to eat, but avoid the dinner time rush, just before the coaches depart. The main shopping area was rammed, then after lunch deserted. The meals here were amazing, really good value, fresh and a very pleasent environment. Best lunch we had eaten in our 7 days in Port Douglas, for under $30 for 2.

Lunch at the pub in the village. Great steak sandwich and fish meal, excellent value with cold beer.

Had a lamburger and fries for lunch - burger was huge and chips yummy. Ate all of the burger but could not finish the fries. Lamb pattie was over an inch thick and very tasty - Burger comprised lettuce, fried onions, lamb & BBQ sauce.

We walked through kuranda deciding where to go after we got off the train and the kuranda trading post looked dead so we looked across the road and saw the pub with the nice surroundings! Did great specials. I had salt and pepper calamari and prawns with chips and salad which was a great portion for the price. The chips... More

Good pub food. Pie and great chips, with good coffee at a reasonable price. Nice clean surrounding. Better than tourist traps on other side of main street.

This place is one of many tourist traps in Kuranda. It is relatively expensive. The burger i had here was the worst i ever had - cheap bun cheapest mince.... As a local i will not be back.

We had lunch here today and ordered the chicken club sandwich. At $15 it was awesome value as it's big enough to feed 2 adults. The chicken breast was juicy and perfectly cooked and all the ingredients were super fresh, chips awesome not oily or old. Service was great, at the time of orderig we were advised there could be... A nice looking little pub with a very attractive outdoor/dining/drinking area - a timber veranda made from local rainforest timber. Very attractive. The menu is quite good and the food, when served, was typical pub fare and quite delicious. Service was good - although the bar staff could possibly make an effort to 'smile' every now and then. What was... More
