Quite acceptable

A good spot for coffee and cake. Located in a kind of open air mall, it is pleasant to sit at their tables and watch fellow tourists wandering through the place.

The pies and pastries here really are superb but, as others have noted, the service is temperamental. I've found that when I've eaten in by myself the service is fine, but if I'm here with the family (3 young children), we get treated like we're something the chef stood in by accident. In particular, they clearly don't like having children... More

Deceived by the tranquil setting we decided to have lunch here today. It was, without a doubt, the worst eating experience I have had in a long long time. I ordered essentially what was a ham, cheese and tomato toasted sandwich and it was literally inedible...not exactly hard to get wrong but somehow they managed it. Unfortunately it was not... More

We stopped for a quick lunch, had great panini sandwiches and returned for a gorgeous mango smoothie on our way back to the Skyrail. Pastries looked good too.

The name "coffee kitchen" suggests good coffee, sadly this place did not deliver on this aspect with flavourless and lukewarm coffee. The homemade pastries had been refrigerated and served cold with the pastry overly thick. Disappointing.

Had a lovely big breakfast at The Coffee Kitchen before checking out Barron Falls. Yummy food, large servings and a really cute setting. Happy to recommend it!
