The service here was absolutely terrible - I was spoken down to when I asked if the small would be enough if you were only a little bit hungry... The response I got was "I can only show you the sizes I cannot tell you the size of your stomach". Maybe a silly question but absolutely inappropriate response to give... More

The Italian owner was extremely arrogant, argumentative and abusive. I asked for jam as an extra to the toast and scrambled eggs and he said I needed to pay another $4.90 for it as he wouldn't sell the jam portion as an extra to the sourdough that came with the meal. We left without breakfast and his behaviour should really... More

the best gelato we have ever had and what better place to eat it than right on the beach at Nelly Bay. The young man behind the counter is only too happy to tell you where the flavours come from.

I was really surprised. To find excellent authentic Italian pizza on magnetic island. To the extent where the customer was ordering from the owner in Italian. The prices are fair. The pizzas are brilliant and they are byo without corkage. I want to go back

Like everyone else, we were attracted by the signs and crowds around this place, so we decided to try it out. We were certainly not disappointed, with their range of authentic looking and tasting pizzas, bringing back fond memories of our own travels in Italy.

Pizza was good, traditional, but still not great - a little ho hum with flavour punch. Gelato was very disappointing. Sickly sweet and no discerning flavour ( we had 4 out of the 12 that were there). Staff very friendly.

Magnetic Island is so lucky to have delicious Wood Fired Pizza @ Caffe Dell Isola. Just for a moment you think you're in North Queensland but it tastes like you're in regional Italy! Instantly your taste buds transport you to the Mediterranean. No flights, no jet lag, just a ferry fare from Townsville to "Maggie Island" and head to Arcadia... More

Authentic Napoli pizza at its best! Very expensive but worth it! You know it's going to be good when the staff barely speak English (ie talking Italian). Don't ask for the pineapple either!

Visited with and Italian friend who endorsed the pizzas as very nice. Quick service with only 3 - 4 minutes in the wood fired oven. So authentic you will not see pineapple anywhere on these pizzas. Outdoor seating ideal for warm weather. Coffees need improvement
