I was really surprised. To find excellent authentic Italian pizza on magnetic island. To the extent where the customer was ordering from the owner in Italian. The prices are fair. The pizzas are brilliant and they are byo without corkage. I want to go back

Like everyone else, we were attracted by the signs and crowds around this place, so we decided to try it out. We were certainly not disappointed, with their range of authentic looking and tasting pizzas, bringing back fond memories of our own travels in Italy.

There is a casual eating place on the waterfront at arcadia. very casual, but great spot under the trees with decent coffee and good service

Pizza was good, traditional, but still not great - a little ho hum with flavour punch. Gelato was very disappointing. Sickly sweet and no discerning flavour ( we had 4 out of the 12 that were there). Staff very friendly.

Magnetic Island is so lucky to have delicious Wood Fired Pizza @ Caffe Dell Isola. Just for a moment you think you're in North Queensland but it tastes like you're in regional Italy! Instantly your taste buds transport you to the Mediterranean. No flights, no jet lag, just a ferry fare from Townsville to "Maggie Island" and head to Arcadia... More

Authentic Napoli pizza at its best! Very expensive but worth it! You know it's going to be good when the staff barely speak English (ie talking Italian). Don't ask for the pineapple either!

Visited with and Italian friend who endorsed the pizzas as very nice. Quick service with only 3 - 4 minutes in the wood fired oven. So authentic you will not see pineapple anywhere on these pizzas. Outdoor seating ideal for warm weather. Coffees need improvement

My twin sons ordered a cheese pizza from the restaurant. Fourteen dollars later and that's what they got, a thin, pita bread type base with a few sprinkles of cheese on top - and some burnt bits. No spices, no tomato, no pizza sauce. They ate it up but I'm not sure if that was because it tasted good or... More

It's not often you get a real Italian pizza in Australia. Forget the take aways - even the restaurants in Australia rarely capture the delicate Italian flavours and 'real' pizza base quality. These pizzas have none of that heavy oiliness that other pizzas leave you feeling. We shared a pizza at the completion of the 'over the mountain' walk from... More

So far, have only tried the pizzas from here. They were really nice and traditional but seemed overpriced. Service was good and staff were friendly. Will go back to try some pasta!
