Great ice cream - todays mix was - Wattleseed, jackfruit, Raspberry and Coconut - fantastic flavours.
We liked the fact that the ice cream flavors were already picked because we tried wattleseed and it was very good! Be prepared that the ice cream is already scooped and ready in a cup that keeps things moving when several people arrive at the same time. The owners have the fruit trees lined in orchards along the entrance road... More
It is a factory in the middle of nowhere, it is worth a stop whilst touring around for a refreshing break. You cannot choose which I cream to have, it depends what the factory is selling that particular day. When we were there it was selling Mango, Passionfruit, Macadamia nut and Wattleseed ice creams, one scoop of each in a... More
We arrived shortly before opening at 11am and were given our tubs with 4 yummy flavours to try. We had passion fruit, raspberry, pineapple and wattle seed which tasted like coffee. Set in lush gardens with tropical fruit trees we were also given a leaflet with a guided walk pointing out all of the different trees which was a bonus.
A local told us about this place whn we were on the Daintree river. so when we saw the sign we called in. It's a small and laid back shop with a nice choice of home made ice creams. We had a tub with 3 flavours in. All wonderful and particulalry good on a hot day. Plenty of places to... More
We loved this place, despite each time we went there it was pouring down. Good variety of flavors and delicious ice cream. I was very happy to find Soursop ( Chirimoya), a fruit from Peru which is very tasty and really impossible to find anywhere else in Australia. They have the trees on the entryway too.
The icecream is made from the fresh produce on the farm and the setting is beautiful. We had the icecream twice and the girl there let us sample different local fruit/ice cream each time. It was fresh and delicious!
We stopped by here on our Daintrees day trip. I visited the region many years ago but didn't know that there were so many little gems along the way that we could visit. So this time, I made sure that I had a taste of the local ice creams, pay a visit to the tea shop and simply just stopped... More
We stopped here on way to cape tribulation & we were not disappointed. The ice cream is just delicious, with the coconut one being our favourite. Set in beautiful gardens with a nice orchard walk. It had just stopped raining as we arrived and that bought out the mosquitoes, so put on repellant. The couple that run the company were... More
