Decent portions, fixed menu, friendly staff. Nothing outstanding but also a round happy belly afterwards.

Superb meals and breakfast. The table service was excellent and love the introduction to our food upon its arrival. The gallery has an aboriginal theme and it suits the surrounding rainforest and birds... the Wompoo

We stayed at the Daintree Ecolodge (which is where the restaurant is located) and ate all of our meals here. Delicious food and cocktails and great service.

There are not a lot of dinner dining options in Daintree, but we chanced upon the best. We were staying at Daintree Wild B&B and there were no dining options there. We had considered staying at the Daintree Eco Lodge so when we drove by, we stopped in for lunch. It was so good that we had two dinners and... More

My review specifically relates to acknowledging the welcome we received from management and staff when we dropped in for lunch a few days ago while on a motorcycle trip that I had organised out of Cairns. Although not being house guests we were still accorded genuinely friendly service and hospitality. The unscheduled stopover in such relaxing surroundings really made a... More

Scallops were amazing! Crocodile was very good too. If you see Natalie, try her incredible nightly cocktail creations. She has great talent. She is at home in the rainforest and can tell you interesting stories of her experiences with the flora and fauna in the forest.

Dining at Julaymba Restaurant is beside a billabong which adds a lot of atmosphere to the experience. Whilst waiting for our lunch we saw Ulysses Butterflies, an Azure kingfisher and heard Double-eyed Fig-Parrots, Graceful Honeyeaters, Yellow-spotted Honeyeaters and the Wet Tropics endemic Macleay's Honeyeater. Our battered Barramundi arrived with a stunning rainforest salad with a Lemon Myrtle Dressing. In the... More
