All my family caught up with the rest of the Bowen Family here for lunch. It was a bit hot, but the food was yummy and the atmosphere was great. Most of my family are petitioners or retirees. They were very happy with quality,quantity and value of the meals. A great place for a famly gathering.

Good ambience and the food was great. We had the nights special, chilli con carne, tasty and a good sized portion. It could have had more corn chips but otherwise both food and place worth a visit. We will go back.

Loved the meal and casual environment - way too hot though - all customers appeared to be perspiring excessively. Recommend that owners improve their cooling system.

It was really busy the night we were there as thy were the only place open to eat. I asked for my steak to be cooked medium to well done but it was quite rare. When I sent it back to the kitchen the chef microwaved it. I wasn't impressed. The others at our table who did not order steaks... More

We were going to stop at a roadhouse for a quick feed but after 6 hours on the road decided we would venture into the town of Bowen to find something more substantial. We go there a lot and the food is always good, a little pricey. The steak I has to be the best in bowen. The seafood is better than the fish n chip shops. They haven't disappointed us yet.
