Description: A modern European restaurant and bar with a German influence. Come and see us for great food, German beer on tap, relax by the fireplace or enjoy the beer garden. We also feature a great wine and cocktail list, along with a unique, German beer on tap: Radeberger. You won’t find it anywhere else in Australia on tap. Additionally, look for our selection of German schnapps, making Wunderbar one of the very few places in the region to offer this classic European specialty. Come for a finely crafted cocktail and stay for a hearty sampling of Wunderbar’s specialty foods.

My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant for the first time. Food was amazing! They had a proper menu, not the Octoberfest bar food. Sausage tasting platter was amazing! Rose cider a must! Proper beers and proper portion sizes. Friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit!

It was Octoberfest which meant the restaurant was turned into a kind of festival hall. Atmosphere wasn't great, and food was average at best.

Homestyle and robust german cooking. Husband loved the snitzel and I was impressed with the dumplings. One of the better places on the peninsula, especially on a cold night. They and board games and an open fire, so a good option perhaps for families?

This place just gives you a homely feel with homely cooking. It has a real German/Euro style. The food is plenty with a wide variety and selection. The service and hospitality is very good. If you have a hunger, come and enjoy. The varieties of European wines and German beers is just a Bonus... Just one word again, Homely.... Just... More

We were really looking forward to eating here but discovered it's closed on Sundays. Rats! We will do our homework better next time and turn up during opening hours (not lunch on weekdays either). The menu looks great and just the thing for a wintery Weekend on the Peninsula.

On this occasion we just came here just to sit in front of the fire and have some drinks. The staff are extremely friendly and the restaurant has a wonderful reputation for its German cuisine.

Ate here last night with 12 others and had a lovely evening. The staff were attentive and friendly. The food was wonderful - we have eaten at restaurants in Germany and this food matched the quality. Excellent variety of food and drinks and extremely reasonable prices. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.
