Breakfast or lunch?

We were in rye for the weekend and attempted to go here on Saturday for breaky but couldn't get a table so we went back Sunday & had more luck. Great coffee. Lovely little cafe with great styling. Food was lovely ... but we had to wait a long time! All in all a great cafe but don't go here... read more

Came here Australia day morning and it was packed!! We waited for a table and luckly got one in the sun. Ordered coffee and the eggs with avo fetta and duka. Absolutely awesome!! Good coffee, lovely service considering it was very busy. Bit of a wait for take away but I understand as it was really really busy. New favourite... More

This is my second visit and once again I have been disappointed by the service!! We waited over 45mins for our burgers whilst the other people on our table had to wait even longer for their Club sandwiches. Hence we were unable to eat all together. When expressing our disappointment to the waiter he simply dismissed our comments and walked... More

Ordered a bacon & egg sandwich & coffee to take away, was informed it would be a 15 minute wait. 40 minutes later I finally got my Brekky with no apology. Probs won't be going back any time soon!! Sandwich was delish though!!

Great little cafe with nice food, fantastic coffee and lovely staff. You can sit and dine in the cafe, or if pressed for time, pop into their produce store next door and get a take away cuppa and food to go. They support local produce and the place has a trendy vibe to it. The owners have really thought of... More

Picknics is one of our favourite breakfast and lunch venues. You can relax looking across the Bay. Staff are delightful and service is prompt. Good range of food, catering for Gluten free and vegetarian. Tim varies the menu and has interesting items. Nikki's home made cakes, slices etc are great. The new Food store they have opened next door is... More

We dropped into Picknics for a coffee and a chai latte. The drinks were very good if not a little on the small side. The Chai Latte was $4 and the coffee was around $4.50. Unfortunately the service was very slow. I'd recommend Picknics if you're not in a hurry
