Kazukis is by far the best restaurant in Daylesford. I have been there twice now and found food and service absolutely first class. Do yourself a favour and treat yourself to a gastronomic delight!!

The service was great. We had crab omelette and morton bay dumpling. Very good. The main lost to the entrees though. The duck goes well with the miso eggplant. In ocha they used codfish with miso. Here it was toothfish. Could not brat ocha as it just melts in your mouth. Very good food and service overall.

We were so happily surprised by the amazing food, attentive staff and colourful and cheeful decor. A little on the pricey spectrum, but worth the special event and celebrations. Expect to be very pleasantly surprised by the Kazuki 'bread and butter' too.

On balance, I thought the food was exceptional. The service was extremely professional. And there was a surprising degree of atmosphere. And the bill matched this at just under $400 for two including the tasting menu, one of the offered supplementary courses and some water and wine. They also catered for my pregnant partner by substituting some of the dishes... More

The food here was the most exceptional I have ever tasted. There was so much flavour bursting with every dish. From the seaweed butter with the side of bread to the final creme brulee course. It was all faultless. Service was incredible with detailed information about the food in each dish. Make sure you are hungry as there are 8-9... More

I have been to Kazuki's three times, the most recent on Sat 1st February. Each time it has been truly excellent. It never ceases to impress. For me, it has to be one of the best restaurants in all Victoria. It's a small place with 2 dining areas. The tables are a good size and you are not crammed it.... More

What a disappointment. After being a regular prior to them getting a hat now the serving sizes for mains are like a child's size, you don't even get 1/2 a dozen oysters and the wine list has changed dramatically. Must have new chefs. One our dishes came out like warm and the potato croquette was revolting. Major disappointment.

Enjoyed the seasonal tasting menu on Saturday night. What makes the food here stand out is the blend of Japanese background and flavours that owner-chef Kazuki Tsuya brings to local Australian produce and western techniques. In this way, Kazuki's offer something unique from the western based Asian fusion that is ubiquitous throughout Australia. Japanese/Australian rather than Australian/Japanese if you like.... More

Generally superb food, knowledgable and friendly service. Snapper main was good but perhaps a less exciting choice. Highlights were the black seaweed butter with the house baked bread and amazing dumplings. Don't expect typically Japanese food, but relax and enjoy!
