Lunched here & it was OK without being anything special. Not many customers but took ages to get our food. It arrived with the most sour, rude service.

I'm a regular at Koukla and eat there often but have coffee there most week days. In fact I've become a bit of a coffee snob because of Koukla. The wood fired pizzas are my favorite on the food front but the other menu items are good also. Petra and the other staff always greet you with a smile and... More

We had lunch at this very cute restaurant in the main street of Daylesford. The décor is rustic with a combination of large share tables and smaller tables both indoor and on the footpath. we had pizza for lunch which was excellent with a very thin crust. we also had wine by the glass. Great place for lunch!

Lunch with family. Limited menu and if you're not feeling like having pizza, there's not much else. All day breakfast, pizzas and Turkish bread toasted sandwiches. Poor staff attitude, no eye contact with customers, so if you need their attention, good luck in getting one. Pizzas are very ordinary. Dough is too thin and crunchy, almost like pitta bread and... Great coffee, superb scone jam and cream with an al fresco feel in the cafe. It was a busy Grand final weekend so service was slow, our order was forgotten and when this was realised they apologised but service remained slow. The afternoon tea was good when it arrived.

I felt the lunch menu was poor & lacked variety, all day breakfast, pizza's, and two lunch specials, staff behind counter not happy or welcoming, we felt like we where inconveniencing her by being there, wait staff where pleasant, we choose a table outside and felt a little neglected, got our lunch order wrong and had to wait for it... Very extravagant decor that looks terrific from the outside looking in. Six of us went there for breakfast last Saturday. We had a cup of coffee to start but the waitress was so unpleasant we left and went elsewhere for breakfast. She had a face like a sour lemon and a demeanour to match. Very out of character with all... More

We went to have breakfast on Saturday 13th September and encountered THE most offensive service. The waitress who showed us to our table was lovely and welcoming but then the dark cloud took our coffee order and stood behind half our table so we could not see her and walked off before we had all ordered. She absolutely should not be working... Despite the fact that we arrived late in the day this cafe had some excellent wood fire pizza and mezze platters on offer. The also had a great vodka cranberry on the menu which was delicious and refreshing. The staff were excellent and prices pretty good. We will be back.

Enjoyed brunch here on a girls weekend. Food was delicious, the waitress despite clearly being stressed due to the line for take away coffees, was lovely, and we were happy to wait a little longer than necessary to order. However upon paying the girl behind the counter was utterly rude and obnoxious. Found it impossible that she had to split... More
