Friendly service, good food

We stayed at Frangos and Frangos and had breakfast at Kouklas included each day. We found the service friendly and welcoming and the food solid. Coffee was very good

Dropped in for a weekday lunch, service was a little slow to take our order even though it wasn't very busy, but the drinks and food came out quickly after we finally got our order in. I had a tasty prawn pasta from the specials board ... I'd prefer a bigger chilli hit but I really enjoyed my dish. My... More

We were really disappointed here. We ordered the exact same breakfast for all of us, one with gluten free bread, but items were left off the gluten free one (like cheese) and we were still charged for it. We had to chase coffees and teas after our waitress didn't put them through. It just felt completely haphazard and like they... More

We won't be back. We had breakfast, poached eggs were over cooked, toast wasn't sourdough, coffees were not very hot and service was stand-offish. Expected more than this for the cost. Small outside table was too full with water bottle, ashtray, glasses, cutlery container, coffee cups and then the plates of food came out.

Went for pizza which was delicious, they had gluten free bases for those who are intolerant and I had the lentil soup which tasted so delightful and warm for a cold winters day. Fast service and everyone was very polite

Four of us visited for coffee and cake on a Monday morning. The cafe is well situated in the Main Street with a view of the passing parade. Unfortunately the "coffee experience" was a bit lacking. Two of the four drinks we ordered were not hot enough - very noticeable on such a cold day - and the staff did... More

The day we visited for breakfast there were only 2 staff on; one making coffee and one covering the floor. Both were run ragged but trying to do their best, although were abrupt with customers at times. The food was average, nothing to rave about, you could probably make better at home. I had the egg and bacon Panini -... More

Went for dinner on a Saturday night. Sat down at a table and apparently we didn't even exist. No menus were given and we didn't even get greeted with a hello. Ended up getting our own menus from the counter. We were one of 3 couples and waited over 40 minutes for our mains. Ordered a pizza and calamari. The... More
