Ate here 3 times in 24 hours. The best fire, great coffee and attentive service. The menu offers a wide range and the free wifi is an added incentive on cold winter days.

We always stop here on a visit to Dayelsford. Great woodfired pizzas (mushroom is amazing!) and exceptional coffee. Service is always friendly and if you get a seat near the fireplace you will be in heaven. It's a very casual place, with a couple of large communal table as well as smaller ones. Wine list is pretty small but good... More

How they can make scallops taste so good so far from the ocean is beyond me, and we arrived right at the end of service. This earthy and eclectic spare is sure to draw you in.

We had read some online reviews for koukla that were not what you would call glowing, so we were pleasantly surprised by our experience at koukla. We stuck with the pizzas, but other people's mains looked to be of a decent size and were smelling delicious. Our pizzas were very good - heavy on toppings with a thin, crispy base.... More

We were staying at Frangos so breakfast was at Cafe KouKlas, and after a disaster at dining at the other restaurant in Frangos we were fearful of what we would experience. What we received was one of the best breakfasts I have had for a long time. I had the Red eggs which on a cold wintery day was outstanding. Oven... More

My partner and I were looking for a nice cosy cafe to spend our last few hours in Daylesford before we head off back to Melbourne. It's difficult to put my finger on why I didn't 'love' this place (it may have been because I had read some negative reviews already) but something just wasn't quite right for me. We... More

There was a complimentary breakfast at Cafe KouKla with our room at FrangosAndFrangos, and when we arrived it was like entering a Bohemian breakfast kitchen. The staff were welcoming, and the food was just right to start the day; I only needed a light lunch to keep my energy up.

We chose a lamb sausage and feta pizza as well as the prosciutto, pear, rocket and Gorgonzola pizza to share amongst 4 people. A good choice and we were all happy . The service was fast and friendly. We had room left for coffee and dessert and chose the churros which were dust in cinnamon sugar and served with melted... More

Warm and inviting on a chilly winter day. The friendly staff greeted us at the door welcoming us in to their cosy cafe. We came for the pizzas and they were delicious. Ordering the lamb sausage with fetta & the pumpkin & spinach. The pizza bases were to die for! Best Ive had(except for 400 Gradi) Fresh & punchy flavours.... More
