We heard about the "great fish and chip" and it was so hit in the Sacramento Valley that we decided to fly there to cool off. What a mistake! We arrived a little after 5:00 pm on Labor Day Weekend. We walked to the deli and there were tons of people there but when we went to order food the... More

The food is good! I'm not a deli, fried food type of person but they have some amazing meals! The Chef is an excellent cook and so friendly! The staff is always nice and smiling which is great! I would recommend the fish n chips if you love sea food, double jalapeño burger if you love meat, and the calamari basket... More

As has been stated, this is a fish and chips place. The fish is as good or better than any I've ever had, even London. It was a beautiful day and the patio picnic tables made the fare even better. They had a band playing, and had the bbq rustling up 6" oysters for $2 (wow!) and skewers of huge... More

The deli always has a special BBQ for holiday weekends. The oysters, chicken and ribs were all wonderful. Of course the fish and chips are always good. Very fresh and made to order. Sitting outside in the beautiful weather didn't hurt either. If you looking for fine dining you shouldn't be in Shelter Cove anyway, but if you are looking... More

Keeping it simple here - just a good neighborhood market with a deli and serving some delicious fish & chips. We were impressed that they hand-battered each piece before frying - not pre-packaged. Definitely not fast food, but that was ok - we weren't in a hurry. Best part was eating them by the beach.

Ok, the truth is the place is just a fish & chip joint and that's just fine with me. To many restaurants want to feed you all kinds of stuff but can't do any well. This goes for some restaurants in Shelter Cove who think fine dining is serving wine with dinner. The fish & chips were a good size... More

Heard about their "famous" fish & chips so had to try them. Quality of fish was good but overly greasy so we were disappointed.....
