Very Good Meal Out

Decided to go out for a spontaneous meal with the girlfriend and with Indian being one of our favourites we opted for the Rajdutt. The service was friendly and efficient throughout without being over the top. As for the meal I went for a Chicken Madras, whilst the other half had chicken tikka and... read more

Lamb was tough and the curry sauces disappointing. Rice and nan bread ok. Mentioned chewy lamb to waiter, no response or apology. Will not bother going there again. I can make better curries myself at home.

I have been going to this Indian for 15 years. The jalfrezi is the best I have ever had, and I have eaten a lot of curries. The vindaloo is also one of the best ever. Rice and Nan breads are always great, service is excellent and the prices are reasonable. I would thoroughly recommend this Indian to anyone.

The papadums were fresh and crisp, with a generous if predictable selection of chutnies. I had a prawn madras which, continuing the theme, was a large portion, but frankly was a generic sauce that i suspect is poured onto most of the standard curry choices - you will have had it in countless forgettable curries. That said, it was fine... More

Excellent service, food and value. Eaten in and taken away many times over the last 10 odd years, always enjoyable
