Great food and service. A bit noisy because of the children there- they seemed to be having a great time- but can't fault it otherwise.

Visiting the area and the staff at Norfolk Lavender recommended the Rose and Crown. We went along with their suggestion and we were not disappointed. The staff were very friendly and efficient and my ribeye steak was beautifully cook. Well worth a second visit.

We visited today for lunch and had a really lovely time. I'm on holiday with my parents (my dad being a wheelchair user) and my 1 year old son. We were made to feel really welcome and our waitress was lovely, I walked in feeling slightly fried after chasing my toddler round a farm all morning and was dreading another... More

An excellent salad with generous portions of chicken was placed before me when 6 of the family met up for sunday lunch. This was fortunate as I could concentrate on eating instead of trying to catch up with the annual family news with the volume of muzac drowning out conversation. The Garden Room is an echoey place and with many... More

We booked a meal for four on Friday 6th June and arrived with great aprehension as the car park and road outside were absolutely packed. So were the bars. However, we were shown quickly to a table where Vicky soon took our drinks order and was very smartly back with them. Great wine selection and excellent cask ale choice. The... More

The best pub in the area by a country mile. Food was terrific. Good beer selection with well kept Wherry and Timothy Taylors as a guest. The childrens meals were just smaller adult portions, so it was 'proper' food - no turkey twizzlers or alphabetti spaghetti! Wonderful walled garden full of trees and floral borders. The kids pirate ship adventure... More

Booked into a local B&B, Mount Emelia, who recommended the Rose & Crown. Great service, the food was absolutely first rate. Well presented with good portions, rather than decorated for appearance only. Would recommend to anyone who is travelling through to Kings Lynn

Good food and good service from start to finish. One of our party was in a wheel chair and they were able to accommodate his needs without any fuss. Pork and pistachio terrine for starters. Haddock, chips and mushy peas for main and chocolate mouse for sweet. All well cooked and no fault with any of them. Particularly happy with... More

Called in for lunch as dog friendly. Weather not to bad sat in the garden and ordered food which took ages to arrive. Having said that the meat was tender and an ample portion. The selection of veg could have done with a refresh. Sweet's were the same late on arrival and smaller portions than some other place's. Overall not... More
