Good pizza

Visited on a Monday evening to find all pizzas at £6! Excellent with plenty of topping, only went the once but other dishes looked good too.

We went here as a couple & shared a starter & had 2 different main courses & some wine. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated & the service was good. The house wine was a Sauvignon Blanc which was very nice & cheaper than expected. Food was well priced & the starter good - selection of breads & dips -... More

Amazing food, calamari and dips & anchovy caper salad to start followed by swordfish with gorgeous veg and pasta with King prawn. No problem with being lactose free and could have had gluten/lactose free dessert if we'd had room. Quiet atmosphere and lovely service. We'll go back next time we're in the area

We had a nice crab pizza and a salami pizza, both of which were very tasty and reasonably priced, followed by a mini mouse and hot chocolate. The restaurant had nice casual ambiance and staff were friendly.Worth a visit

1530 lived up to its local reputation as a pleasant place to eat - with probably the most interesting food in Castleton. My calamari starter was hot, crisp and tasty, just as it should be. For mains I had linguine with prawns and crabmeat, which was also excellent. The young waitress staff were helpful and efficient. Recommended.

we visited the restaurant whilst staying in Castleton having read favourable reviews on here We arrived about 5 minutes before our booked time and were told that our table wasn't ready so we would have to sit at a different one, surely a table should be ready 5 minutes before its booking time? We sat and looked at the menu... More

Visited and stayed in Castleton over the bank holiday as a last minute get away. And this super Italian squeezed us in without any problems. A lovely warm welcome and shown to our seats straight away. Waitresses helpful, bubbly and attentive. I had the goats cheese tartlet to start, followed by the spinach and pea risotto ( with chicken). Absolutely... More

Never left an average review before but felt compelled to say a few words about dinner tonight. Arrived at 6.20pm just ahead of our friends at 6.30pm. Drinks arrived about 6.50pm ish. 10 mins later we ordered a garlic bread with cheese starter to share and our main courses. Massive wait for both and slow to clear plates (and glasses)... More

We booked over a BH weekend and thought it might be packed, it wasn't (initially). We also turned up early as it was a blustery spring day and we were soaked! However our early arrival didn't phase the staff and they were very accommodating. Now comes the hard part, as the menu was so good, we spent a considerable amount... More

Beautiful steak and some of the tastiest olives we've ever had. Even managed to make some room for dessert - cheesecake and chocolate pot did not disappoint either! Highly recommended.
