I loved it here! From the ambience to the menus to the quality of food, Excellent service to top it off, All homemade food and the cake section is fab, The only negative point is it's a little small so tables are limited due to its popularity, Can't wait to come again and try another cake :-)

Called in Saturday lunch. Three of us decided to try the deli plate which meant we could choose three items from the deli attached together with a bucket of bread (fresh brown and white French stick). The choice was brilliant. Ham, continental meats, cheese, pate and lots more. What's more the owner told us they normally had more choice! I... More

Upa couple of steps next to the Town Hall and you enter Bramhalls - turn left and you are in the deli, right and you are in the cafe. Both are worth visit if you are passing through Ashbourne - some nice Xmas treats were purchased and a chicken hill triple decker sandwich and crisps with a very nice light... More

Sat lunchtime hungrier than usual so decided to go for the homemade burger of the day, which was pork and chilli. Best burger ive had in a long time. The salad it came with had a bit too much spring onion and radish for my liking but otherwise was fresh and good. The babe had the ploughmans which came with... More

Been here a few times when we have visited Ashbourne. Brilliant choice of food and lovely staff. They use ingredients from the adjoining deli so good choice and fresh. Will be going back on our next visit. Would recommend to anyone.

In the centre of Ashbourne and part of a rather good delicatessen. The café is modern, clean if a little clinical. Service was prompt and friendly. Interesting menu with plenty of choice at reasonable prices. My pork and chorizo burger was excellent with a nice bean sprout salad and sweet potato chips. On another day had the smoked haddock fishcakes... More

We had excellent service, great coffee and cake and all the facilities were excellent (including a high standard in the toilet department!). I recommend the pear and almond tart - warmed or cold as you wish- and my husband loved the hot chocolate. The best of the coffee shops in Ashbourne we have tried so far- but now, of course,... The food here is top notch. Fresh, inventive, full of flavour and beautifully presented. We've visited several times in the last few months and we love it here. After lunch, visit the deli and take home some delicious treats!

Had the ham hock terrine... best ever! Wife had fishcake and received just one on a plate with salad.... thought it was expensive initially but actually was rather filling and very delicious. Lovely side salad and would defo call again. The coffee cake looked nicer than it tasted. Was an expensive meal for the size.. but quality carried it through.... More
